Does anybody know a good affordable l Lawyer against Sedgwick?Yes just like others complaints, my company changed from MetLife Disabilty to Sedgwick CMS. 23,year w/ MetLife Disabilty y & sudenly I asked my Union Benefits Coordinator for help w/ a lot of things& she is in denialof certain things. MetLife Disabilty was very fair to me. I cant say same for Sedgwick. Last year something horrible happened to me & when I asked her for help, the Insurances have changed a lot in 3 year , forced some o f us to United HealthCare Medicare while still paying for Medicare-A/B. MetLife Disabilty twice overruled any more Meical reviews due to my age & types of disabilities 2007, my employer I am disabled from ok’d it & in 2010 MetLife Disabilty caseworker changed & nobody knows anything about it, very long disabilty papers again. MetLife Disabilty, my former union guyv& a former telco Contracto Hewitt r were all in my favor.n 2017 after writing complaints to my 2 Insurances & a lot of scam calls, I suddenly get a letter 3 rd week Dec.2017 that Jan 1,2018 Sedgewick CMS is the employe’s new Long Term DisabiltyContractor. Along with that is a Sedgewick CMS page dated on bottom, 5-2017, stating “ anyeasily identifiable disability, anyone who treated me, etc., can be used&i f I don’t ythey ca stop my LTD long term zdisability pension, stop my healthcare benefits. Sedgwick wick CMS without my knowledge nor consent & I do not have to be present. !If i dont sign. The page refers to May 2017, Sedgewick wasnt my Long Term Disabilty contractor in May 2017! Union benefits coordinator cold as ice to me, in denial. I said it was a dangerous contract. MetLife Disabilty exended to end of Jan.20 18. Feb. 5, 2018, I get call from a Little Rock Arkansas # ,I have severe hearing impairment & cant afford RX hearing aids. Message left on my cellphone, ( I am in New Jersey, call was from unidentified Little Rock Arkansas #. That fromSedgwick, 2 sets of papers, only being paid to March :1,20-8 , 60 days to fill out paerwork, someting IME $ send a list of current RX’s &we’ “ monitor your progress”! I was sick! Union swas no help, nothing like the Union of old. She is in denial. On Drs . Paperwork, they are asking When I complained to Union girl , she claims that question is on MetLife Disabilty papers too. She refuses to acknowledge that MetLife in past overruled any more Medical reviews, is making fool of me. Sedgwick gave a second call unknown to me, says is “ Hilliard Ohio “ that this is an annual review.& lets start with disability papers & wants to explain Disability pension Long term disability to me. “ Mental Condition: Is patient competent to endorse checks and direct proceeds thereof “? Union benefits coordinator refuses to believe that ? Wasnt on all previuos MetLife Disabilty papers, refused to acknowledge that previous contractor sometimes waived annual reviews. I have another aWpaper I. Signed n 1993 that it is “ service pension or disability pension” with the option to select a Designated Survivor Annuity$47.00 permonth. She refuses to acknowledge that in the past she didnt want to see all this paperwork. I am questioning howcan this be a Long Term Disabilty if there is a Survivor Annuity Option, if you lose your LTD, how can there be a Survivor Annuity option? She snapped at me one morning I got her on the phone, I began by saying hello & identifying myself & trying to tell her that in 2007,she snapped at me “ Why am I bringing up 2007 when its 2018”? I also have asthma copd & was getting over flu, trouble breathing, was shocked because MetLife Disabilty had sent me a Jan.2018 Statements unexpectedly & MetLife Disabilty always prints the June 11,1993 date along with Jan.1,1995! I was so floored that I said in 2007 due to my age & types Of Disabilty, MetLife decided no more Medical reviews were needed & hung up & started crying. I called Union headquarters, complained & had to getoff phone due. to asthma. Well she, Union benefits coordinator, is in denial & claims I hung up on herMetLife refers to past, why cant I? I miss Metlife.& I am afraid of everything rything I read about Sedgwick. I lost a lot of good longtime Drs. Of my own in last few years, 4 or 5 retired suddenly. I am afraid Sedgwick will scare them off . I had these feelings before I had read any complaints against Sedgwick . She is in denial of how they are operating. Sedgwick also se nt papers after Feb.5,2018, thats not 60 days.Alleged Sedgwick also left message on my phone , list of RX’s and we will monitor your progress “? I have been disabled 23 years. I injured my back on a trip to S.D. There was no accident, but I've been fighting my back problems for almost 20 years (from work injury). I filed for short-term disability Aug. 17th 2010. It is now Oct. 18th 2010 and still no results. I was told it was denied because of "lack of info from the Dr.) I sent in 3 medical reports, and was told they don't have them. It is in appeal, and won't be decided intil Nov. 25th 2010. Where are my records I sent in? I was standing right there when they were sent. I am entitled to 22 weeks full pay and 11 weeks half pay, but right now...I'm not getting any pay. What is the problem here? I can't work because I'm still under Dr's care. I'm "very" dissapointed in them !!! They are very rude and don't give a hoot about you.
