Business Misconduct
Sentry Management took over management of the Condominium Association Emerald Woods , Naples ,Florida , where I own an apartment.
I have had automatic association fee payment setup with former company , plus specific setup to receive all correspondence over email . The reason for this is nature of my job requires a lot of travel and sometimes for long periods of time.
When they took over they decided to change payment method but didn't notify me at all. They said they sent a letter but I didn't receive anything from them as I moved in February to a new address. I didn't update my mailing address to their account as I was receiving all correspondence over email from former management association.
I found out that I am in default by accident , found a client to rent the apartment and I filled in a rental application for association.
I called them and explained the situation showing also my PROFILE ( in their system ) where explicitly says to send correspondence over email. They don't answering my calls , pass from one to other and finally tell me to talk to a collection agency that want to charge me 900 USD more .
I accepted even to pay their penalties just to close this situation , but they send me to pay on the site , I try it doesn't work , I call them back , finally they answer to me and tell me that the account is blocked , so they send me back to collection agency.
They don't want to sign my rental application and moreover they DON'T ALLOW me to pay my next association fee which I don't think is legal.
I am on the verge of loosing my rental customer so I will loose about 12,000 US just because they keep me blocked. I have all emails and proofs in support of my complaint.
Someone was supposed to give me a sign on how to proceed and nothing. I already send the 3 emails over last 24 hours .
