I'm not Shanda, (though I'm sure she would be highly offended as well), nor do I know the woman. I just stumbled upon this complaint from an internet search. I have no idea what Shanda has "dished out", but perhaps she is getting a dose of Karma as Recordkeeper suggests. I am simply speaking from the perspective of a disabled individual and for the right disabled people have to work. I agree that if this person is making a fortune and/or faking mental illness to collect benefits, that would be wrong and of course she should face the consequences. What I don't understand is why anyone on here would know about this person's mental health or work situation in the first place and why it would interest them so much. I mean, did she ever do anything to you personally? And if she does have a bona fide mental illness, shouldn't that be taken into consideration at least partially, since her brain is obviously not functioning normally? I can't imagine what this Shanda could have done for people to have it out for her like this. Maybe someone here can fill me in?

Shanda on singsnap and formerly of www.zazzle.com/geekgirlunlimited and geekgirlunlimited.com sells her graphic designs for a profit while staying at home on SSI disability ins pay checks for mental illnesses.

She has been investigated for SSI insurance fraud and will be a red flag for SSI for months or years to come for selling her wares on the internet.

The owner of singsnap allows her graphic designs to be used on his site and she receives compensation for these designs as they're used.

After scam reports of her "claiming" to give all proceeds to charity with her geekgirlunlimited web sites and also selling her wares on zazzle.com, she promptly pulled her products off of zazzle OR has or will be using a different seller name.

There is no doubt she will try to sell her products using a new seller name and SSI has been informed of this update.

Do not let your tax dollars pay to have her sit home all day long and make a profit with a booming graphic design business at the same time. How can that be fair to the people who truly need the disability payments?

SSI will red flag her for future selling under a different seller name.
