This is another one of my complaints to SingTel about their inept handling of my GIRO payment request.

I mailed the GIRO application form to SingTel in April 2020, but there was no response, so I called customer service who told me it'll take 4-5 weeks. Waited and nothing happened.

I mailed a a second GIRO form in May 2020. This time the form was returned, and the GIRO application was rejected with the reason that I have not signed up for SingTel eBills which is a load of crap. I've been using eBill for a decade so I logged into my SingTel online account and and took a screenshot of my account which clearly showed I'm using eBill, and mailed it to Singtel with a GIRO form for the third time. This time the form was returned, and the GIRO application was rejected with the reason that my signature did not match the signature at the authorizing bank. I filled up a GIRO form for the fourth time, even went to the bank and got their authorized stamp on the GIRO form so that SingTel won't tell me my signature is not authorized, and mailed it to Singtel. Waited weeks and nothing happened. So I called customer service, and they said they said they didn't receive it. That is outrageous! Ok fine, I prepared another GIRO form and mailed it to them for the fifth time. Guess what? They returned the form in 2 days and said I missed out account holder name! Fine, I put in account holder name and mailed a GIRO form for the 6th time!! I've been waiting for several weeks now. There has been no response to date, 03 Oct 2020 for the 6th application.

6 months have passed since the initial request in April 2020, and a total fo 6 application forms have been sent to Singtel, and yet I still haven't been able to set up GIRO payments.
