As above!

I took my husband to The Grosvenor, Humberston, for a Father's Day Treat. We often eat there, & on the whole, have been vey satisfied. We knew it was Father's Day, so expected a little delay, but it wasn't that busy, so even though my husband wanted a well done steak, which takes a little longer apparently, we didn't expect to wait that long. We did. 3/4 hour! People who came in long after us we getting their meals whilst we were still waiting! My husband's steak wasn't really what he ordered, well done, & the salmon salad that I ordered, neither looked or tasted like salmon. When our plates were being cleared, we were asked if everything was OK, & when we said not really & said why, we were told " well it's busy", which it wasn't when we arrived. No apology or understanding. We often take family & friends to The Grosvenor, & have spent a lot of money there over the years, but we will have to think again about patronising it any more. By the way, there was only one person serving behind the bar. ON FATHER'S DAY AS WELL!
