We purchased a 3W LED Zoom Flashlight Set of 3, SKU# 000D8G through Publishers Clearing House. On arrival we put batteries in them and 2 worked fine the other failed to light and quickly became very hot to the touch. I placed it down quickly on a non-flammable surface and it continue to heat up. I grabbed it with gloves and took the battery cover off and removed the batteries. I then notice the spring on the cover that is supposed to contact the bottom of the battery case was bent and was touching the battery case and also the side of the flashlight causing a serious short.

Had I not been cautious and placed this on a table or paper we would have had a very bad fire.

I expect a response from you quickly before I notify the fire authorities in Ocala/Marion County about this serious fire and burn hazard.

I ordered a product from PCH that is advertised as an: Extra Wide Mop with Additional Head. This is a Smart Home Essentials for Living product. I followed the Assembly Instructions: STEP 1 was initiated and completed. STEP 2 was initiated and completed.
STEP 3 says: Pull to extend pole and turn to tighten. The telescopic handle DOES NOT extend from 29.5" to 50.0"

I am not a weakling at 5' 9 inches and 200 lbs. The pole DOES NOT extend to the full 50.0" as advertised !! What is with this Smart Home product that I purchased thru Publishers Clearing House? I am not trying to get a hernia or wrist, arm or shoulder strain/sprain or
muscle/ligament damage from trying to extend the telescopic handle to 50.0" !!

So connect/contact me with a Smart Home Customer Service Representative, and please explain to me why this telescopic handle/pole DOES NOT extend from 29.5" to 50.0" as advertised in the Publishers Clearing House product ads? PCH or Smart Home !! Please step up and satisfy this customer's legitimate complaint.
