Yep it happened to my disabled veteran son they promised major discounts on cruises (that's how they hooked lined my son) and other discounts along with the hundred dollar gift card and magazines.which oh we so get those that's the only thing except harassed being billed , taking money out of my account change that and the phone number ...but know I got a letter from debt collector for over $600...which I found that their not legit neither... ...they wouldn't cancel at all..nor would they send all the info of the perks/ discounts they promised.... only magazines they randomly selected no Changing them !! The several times I tried cancelling I was told it was a 3 year contract over the phone and I'm liable till it's paid off they have it recorded ... very upset along with all others that's been scammed by them .. I've even tried cancelling the magazines thru the actual magazine companies but still getting them .. I'm getting know where !!
