I ordered a solar cell kit from their website on April 2, 2014. I received an order confirmation. As of May 14, 2014 I have not heard from Solar Winds USA. I have called their number several times and only get Gregs message to leave a message. I have also used their contact via email on their website and still get no response.
This order was placed through paypal. I have file a complaint with PayPal also in which I hope to get a full refund.
According to PayPal, SolarWindsUSA is not responding to them also.
The order number was 100002892 and was for $151.42USD.

I recently bought a camper and being winter I wanted to start a project to use this summer. SO I wanted to make solar cells. I researched online and came up with various ideas and via google shopping found fair prices at solar winds usa. I ordered appx $130.00 of 4x4 tabbed solar cells. This means that they have wire soldered to them in two places and helps if you are skilled. I called after 10 days and was assured it would be in the mail the next day. Two weeks later I finally got thru on the phone while the "owner" was on a roofing job. He kept huffing about his labor on a ladder. I got a refund the next day from him and was assured that it was a mis understanding. IF I were to resubmit my order he'd see to it I get my product. So I did and feeling reassured up'd the order for 72- 6x6 tabbed solar panels. I received them a week later... untabbed of course. The "owner" now will not answer his phone nor return messages. Awaiting a paypal claim partial refund. Steer clear of customer service that's dealt from while on a ladder.

We do not sell 3x6 or 6x6 untabbed cells or even stock them. Our cells are tabbed to the edge and you mistakenly thought they had a pigtail on them. There are no longer any manufacturers providing "long" tabbed cells. BTW anyone who ever made a complaint either received a full refund or got the product. It is easy to file a complaint on the internet and then when it is taken care of not follow up with a "resolved" post.
