I write, as a long standing customer of Sterling group. Over the past 20 years, I must admit I've never found cause for any concern of your tobacco products. However on this occasion strangely? I'm concerned to say. I found, a sharp while small piece of glass within the packet. And unfortunately cut my thumb. While the cut is only small it really shocked me and had to visit the local A&E hospital, in Haverfordwest. Which lead to tetanus injection. I will not be pursuing a claim against Sterlinggroup albeit, I have been advised. But I feel it only prudent to let you know what has happened. The packet was fully sealed. Purchased from Co-op store in Fishguard thee town where I live.

Stupidly I must conceed, I threw the peice of glass away! I only wish I had taken photo for your understanding of the size. I enclose picture of the wound which I hope gives you a better view of the situation. The wound is now healing well.

Please could you advise your production team leader / Manager of this for them to try to ensure no further accidents of this type occur in the future.

The piece of glass was triangual in shape 4-5 mm in size clear in colour with a tiny black blemish in the corner of the piece. I dont know it this may relate to a piece of machinery for example, i hope it may help in any investion you may take.
