Third pack with huge chunks and leaves of tobacco. Had to throw most away.

Hi can you tell me why the new cigarette packets don't show the tar, nicotine or carbon monoxide levels? This is vital information that shld be on the packets like b4 so why are they not now? I believe these fags are been tampered with and I am not happy, I want to know what I am putting in my body especially when I'm paying £10 a pack. Absolutely disposable.

I brought a 20 pack of Sterling silver and much to my dismay there was only 15 cigarettes in the pack.

I rang the garage (Forge Garage Bourton Dorset uk) & questioned this fact. They stated they are 17 in a pack & not 20 cigarettes.

This is not stated in the advertising of these cigarettes nor is this stated on the packaging. Not that is an insult itself I only had 15 cigarettes in the pack. This is outrageous, dishonest, misleading and I'm sure illegal.

I can not get refunded for the cigarettes as I've opened them and I therefore request that you refund me. Further advertising the fact that they are 17 in a pack and also checking why I only had 15 in my pack.

I very much hope you can address this matter and that I hope to hear back from you - promptly.

No where does it state on the packet that ANY cigerettes are missing never mind 3! I'm bloody annoyed 1st the government up the prices for all the "pet hate smokers brigade"( ironic the same people who are now paying more tax to make up for the shortfall) then they decide to reduce the amount u get without warning you! Who goes to a shop and asks for 17 sterling? I always ask for 20 pay the ridicules price and expect to get what I payed for! Never again am I buying Sterling!

First I thought it was an issue of quality control, then it became apparent that it was in fact just a gaping hole in the cigarette packet that was meant to be.

19 is just about acceptable; 18 used to be the rip off packets in pub vending machines (that once were) which you used to avoid at all costs unless absolutely departed. Since when has any company ever sold SEVENTEENS?!

They haven't even attempted to disguise their underhandedness by shrinking the packets so it's not quite so blatantly obvious. Even the shops don't know what they're selling as when you ask for a packet of 20, they merrily serve you a pack of 17 without even blinking.

I am utterly disgusted, as it appears are many others, so it's a relief to know I'm not alone. Shocking is not even the word.

Hopefully the vast amount of us will demonstrate our displeasure by voting with our feet and binning them off in favour of a cigarette maker with some minor scruples, not looking to hack is customers right off!

Vast amounts of consumer displeasure will not amount to equal amounts of profit...so well done Sterling...hopefully you've done yourselves right out of any 2016 bonuses.

Paid 7.99 for 20 sterling today... definately a 1 off though as i usually buy no3 which are only 6.50 for 20 but end up paying 7.99 for 17. The words total scammers come to mind... sort it out sterlong.. how can u justify charging thay amount for 17

Like others, I've just bought a pack of Sterling Superkings Smooth, expecting to find 19 in the pack, only to discover that there are now only 18, which is not marked on the packet. What a con - how are the tobacco companies justifying it this time? And yet again, done without any warning to smokers. I recently came back from Spain, where there are still 20 in a packet. Why is the UK different?
