I have just purchased another pack of TWENTY Sterling Dual yet again to discover there are less than 20 in the pack. I have taken packs back to the shop before and had them replaced with two packs of 10. However I shouldn't have to do this. Under Trading Standards/Consumer rights regulations if I purchase 20 cigarettes I should have 20 in a pack. The packaging does not state 17, 18 or 19 or 20, all amounts I have had in packs on various occasions. How can the amount of cigarettes per pack differ at different times of purchase? Packs should be marked with the number of cigarettes in the pack and not have random amounts inside. I will no longer purchase cigarettes from Sterling.
