I recently enrolled on the Stonebridge College Level 4 HLTA course but feel I have been misled. I paid £199 for the fist payment and £50 deposit. I then have to pay £81 over eleven months. I have contacted Stonebridge Colleges numerous times to ask for the course details to be e-mailed to me and I have heard nothing back. I am concerned when the advisor I spoke to assured me that the starting salary for Level 4 HLTAs is £19,000. I work in North Yorkshire and I have been looking at the local salary scale for HLTAs within Primary schools in the area. They pay HLTAs nowhere near this amount. I am not prepared to keep paying for this course when I will have absolutely no benefit from it at all. I currently earn £19,665 with the NHS!!
I would like my money back and not to proceed with this course. I have heard nothing from my supposed tutor if they even exist!
