I first applied for a course (sports coach) on April 27th 2022 (due to a request by my company).
However. later after paying for the course (in that morning) my company later told me that I didn't need it.
So, I decided to cancel the course, on the same day ( i didn't log into their servers or receive any course material).
"Stonebridge" had me follow their routine of telephone first then they would send a cancellation link to another online form which was filled out within the same day.
They told me it would take about a month for the process to go through until the money would be refunded to my credit card.
I waited 2 months to check my credit card statements (nothing). I then sent several emails asking "if they had completed the cancellation. Their answer it is still processing and may take a month or so.
Still no refund and no updates on what was going on.
In July I reported the school to my credit card company (they said it will take 3 months to check).
it is now August 13 2022, I politely have sent another email asking WTF is going on and why it is taking so long.
Is this company scamming money from distance learning students knowing they are not in the country and can't do anything?
I hope the credit card companies catch on to their fraudulent activities and deny them the ability to take payment from them.
