Free phone offer refused

There was an offer on The Straight Talk web site to get a free Galaxy J3 Orbit phone for free if i just ordered a phone plan which I did and when I tried to pay, my credit card wouldn't go through. I called the bank and was told my card was fine and the bank did not see any attempt by the Straight Talk server to complete the transaction. I tried other cards and none would go through. I took a screen shot of the offer and also the final check out. i called customer service and they insisted there was no free offer and that I could pay regular price for the item. i sent a complaint letter with the screen shots to their Executive resolution Dept in Miami and after 2 weeks had no response. I called customer service again and pretty much got the same run around about how I could buy the phone at the current price. Very disappointing. Maybe a call to Walmart would help. I put refill card on my phone that had not been activated for approximately 2 months.It wouldn't work,so called Straight talk.They informed me that I need a new simms card because my number had been given yo someone else.So I had to order one because my local walmart didn't sale just the simms card.I ordered the wrong ine,so I ask if I bought a whole package could I get my minutes back that I had already put on my phone.On two separate occasions they assured me i it would go towards my next month bill.So I bought a package when I got paid.Went to activate my phone and the man told me i would not receive my min that I did not use,that I put on my phone the first time.This is wrong,I do not have $45 to waste.I am a signal parent lieing pay check to check.Thry plain out lied to me.I i had known this I would have used a different carrier.If there is anything I can do about this,I will.I don't care if it's just $45,because I work hard and try to be a honest person.And they "LIED "

unlock phone

straight talk is a "no contract" wireless company yet straight talk will not unlock my phone that I bought and own. I have had three family members on straight talk plans for over 10 years and now that I want to change plans for personal reasons, straight talk won't allow me to switch. I find this a little petty. I have agreed to follow your rules and sign up for 5 more months of your service in order for you to unlock my phone on 5/27/2020 but in those five months I will be telling everyone I come in contact, facebook, twitter, instagram, etc with what a unreasonable company straight talk is along with the outrageously poor customer service and discouraging everyone to stay away from straight talk along with banning shopping at Walmart. I have made Walmart aware of this situation and have contacted an attorney.

The imei I would like unlocked is 35 306710 524767 2 to resolve this situation.

Straight Talk

We purchased a $45 pre-paid card on the Walmart website on 7/18/2015. The activation number on the card did not work, so we tried it again, and the message we then got was that it was no longer valid. We called Straight Talk, who advised that we had to follow up with Walmart because it was their responsibility to replace the card; Walmart referred us back to Straight Talk. We again called Straight Talk who again advised that they could do nothing to rectify the situation, and referred us back to Walmart ~ who referred us back to Straight Talk, who referred us back to Walmart. . . . and on, and on, and on, and on. You get the idea. It was exhausting, and we ran out of resources. I kept a copy of the on-line order and put it aside because I didn't know where to turn. Today I came across this website and I was reading through ALL the other complaints about Straight Talk, and so I decided to give it another try. After all, we paid $45 for a card that NEVER WORKED! I still want to be reimbursed, and now that I have been reminded about this issue, it makes me angry! It doesn't matter that it was almost two years ago. I gave up for the time being, but now I want to try again to recoup my money. A copy of my online order is attached. I am hoping someone can finally help me. Thank you !

LIARS

Purchased a BYOP bring your own phone package from walmart wanted to switch to a new phone . Went to scratch off the pin number and the pin number came off to,now I have been with ST for three years and I know how to scratch the silver strip off to get the pin number. Walmart said they couldn't take it back it was straight talks manufacture defect and it happens a
lot. Called ST got some woman that spoke very bad broken english I spent more time asking her to repeat her questions, She told me she was going to upgrade my concern to a supervisor and cut me off and then came back and pretended to be a supervisor and when I asked her her name she put me back on hold. She came back pretending to be a different supervisor and that the call was being recorded for training purposes and I told her good I am recording it to, she then hung up on me. Wait it gets better, she calls me back again saying she is a different supervisor and the conversation is being recorded for training purposes and I told her good I'm recording it to. Then she tells me I can't record the conversation but she can? I finally found the resolution I switch carriers they had me for three years and lost me in 37 minutes to a non english speaking liar.. case solved!!

Waste of Money

I will never use this service again and will advise all friends and family to do the same. I have been a customer since 2009, always with 2-3 lines. Every single time I have needed to contact this company I have been met with either "we do not know how to do that" or "I'm sorry, let me send you another SIM card. That will fix the problem". I work for another cell company, and I know how to easy it is to do the simple tasks I ask Straight Talk to do because you as a customer do not have that access. Recently, I bought an iPhone with their company from Walmart. Package had not been opened, but it did not come with a SIM card in the package. So I tried to activate it, thinking maybe this particular model did not need a SIM. I received an error message, so I had to call them. I was told they would send me a new SIM in the mail, because I needed one to activate the phone. So I waited almost a week for the new SIM. When I received it, I put the SIM in the phone and activated it. I received another error. So I called them again. I was told the SIM card they had sent me had been activated with another number. I spoke with them for over an hour trying to get it straightened out. The end result was, too bad. Sorry we wasted your time and couldn't do anything. So I am selling all of my phones that I had through them and going to another company. Maybe they will better value customers that stay with them for 8 years.

Double charged Deactivated

Poor service Ever

I called straight talk on 04/02/206 @ 9:00pm to cancel credit card on my account and to continue recurring payments with original card that has been on the account. I also wanted to verify why the last three payments were different for the $45 unlimited plan!
The 1st agent took 15min just to tell me she had to transfer the call to the refund department where I spoke with Fappiria id# 513268 at the phillipines location; she would not issue the 1st initial to her last name. Immediately I asked if she could process a refund request before giving any information and she ignored my question twice so I asked for a manager she denied giving me the managers name that was on duty. I informed her since it would be a long wait for the manager I could get her to process my requests. I had to repeat myself multiple times, if she didn't know an answer she just repeated my question, she placed me on multiple silent holds without my consent while I would ask her questions or answer her which then she would not listen to what I would state because she would ask me the same question. she became snappy during the call and attempted to end the call even though all of my issues were not resolved. Her listening skills were horrible her behavior was unprofessional, she was not knowledgeable of the straight talk online system for the customers, and her overall customer service was very poor she should not be assisting customers this was the worst   I've ever had with straight

LIES, DISRESPECT, CRAP SERVICE, POOR MANAGEMENT CRAPPY PHONES AND MORE LIES

I HAVE BEEN LIED TOO REPEATEDLY BY EVERY SINGLE CSR AND MANAGER. I WAS PROMISED A NEW PHONE (NOT REFURB) FOR 3 WEEKS SPENDING AN AVERAGE OF 4 HOURS PER DAY ON THE PHONE WITH THESE LIARS. I GOT A 'MANAGER' TODAY WHO CLAIMED TO BE IN THE CORPORATE OFFICE. I ASKED HER WHERE SHE WAS SHE SAID THE PHILIPPINES. TO WHICH I REPLIED, YOU ARE A LIAR!! CORP OFFICE IS IN FLORIDA WHY ARE YOU LYING TO ME? SHE SAID THEY ARE A MULTINATIONAL COMPANY. I SAID SO WHAT THE CORP OFFICE FOR THIS COMPANY IS IN FLORIDA AND YOU SAY YOU ARE IN THE CORP OFFICE BUT YET SAY YOU ARE IN THE PHILIPPINES!! HOW ARE YOU IN CORP OFFICE IF YOU ARE IN THE PHILIPPINES? WHY ARE YOU LYING TO ME? SHE SAID SHE WAS JUST FOLLOWING COMPANY PROTOCOL FOR THESE ISSUES. I SAID, SO COMPANY PROTOCOL IS TO LIE TO THE CUSTOMERS? SHE SAID NO. I SAID THERE, YOU LIED AGAIN!! ANYONE WISHING TO FILE ANOTHER CLASS ACTION SUIT AGAINST THIS SHIT COMPANY AND THEIR SHIT MANAGERS WHO INSTRUCT THEIR EMPLOYEES TO LIE TO THEIR CUSTOMERS PLEASE CONTACT ME!!! poor customer service

Hello my name is Jamie Furgerson and I recently switched from my long time carrier at&t and my data would not work on the phone called on Sunday Nov. 29 around 5pm I started calling your customer service line and I got transferred to another line and told they would call me on another number and they did this twice and never called the other line! I talked to several different representatives that evening trying to solve the problem with my phone at one point I wa as put on hold for an hour with no communication and I finally hung up! I was on the phone for several hours and was very disappointed in the service I received! It wad poor service! The next day I spoke with a supervisor and he fixed my data in ten minutes and that upset me even more! Why couldn't the other reps did that???? A ten minute process and I stayed on the phone.for hours!!!! I am very tempted to just switch back to at&t I never had issues like this with them! I told the supervisor about the very poor service I received and asked him y it was that way he basically said he couldn't do anything for me I said what about the reps that were just completely ridiculous by putting me on hold and leaving me on there he acted he did not mind that i was complaining he jus disregarded the problem! I even til him i was going back to my old carrier he cared less! i hope u can convince me to continue to be a straight talk customer!!!

slow data

i wase with straight talk for a long time and i was payeing a loght of money to straight talk for phone servece and i would get a 45.00 actuvstion card ever 30 days and straight talk said unlimeted data that was a joke wean you rich your data limit they would slow it down and i am not going to spend a loght of money any more for a phone service that lies to there custmers i am no longer with straight talk have a new cell provider and i did my claime agenst straight talk and i will not be going back to straight talk
