took my money
Bought new Straighttalk phone on Nov 7, 2015. (have been Straighttalk customer for 5 years). Went into hospital on Nov 25th for two weeks, phone would not work in hospital(thought it was because of building). Got out of hospital called Straighttalk, found out phone was not working for other reason and they said they would send me new phone and would take 5 days. No phone came. Called again, said would send one overnight, no phone came. Called again, was told I had to send old phone in to get new phone. Had to wait for email from Straighttalk to send phone back as well as and email from FEDEX with waybill info. Waited two weeks again, never got email from FEDEX. Called Straighttalk again, they sent me a box with label(another week). Now at this point I had spoken with five customer service people and two managers. Sent phone to Florida for replacement, got new phone two weeks later. After left hospital, still had old Straighttalk phone, so switched my service back to old phone so I was able to have a phone. Added another 30 days of minutes on phone on January 1 2016. When new phone came on Jan 12 2016 called to activate new phone and switch my service from old phone to new phone. It took me three customer service agents and one manager to complete process. Because I did not have service for two weeks in hospital, Straighttalk would only reimburse me 5 days of minutes, because the invoice they had on record only was for 5 days instead of two weeks. So I took the 5 days. It is now Jan 14th and I went to use my phone and it says service needs to be repurchased to upload minutes, even though I have a service card until Feb 5 2016. see emails attached...

2.If call is not successful > Wait a few minutes > Reboot phone and try again.

So, I still have paid for 20 days of service but my phone doesn't work!!! I am at home bedridden because of injury that I was hospitalized for, with no phone. I went to website and spoke with service agent through chat room and they gave me a 866-806-1840 phone number to call with pin#032700 but I have no phone to do so. Nor can I call anyone to come over to use their phone. Now that is ******up!!!
Not only was I ripped off 20 days of service but can't call anyone. Will not be EVER recommending Straighttalk to anyone!!!!
