I was contacted by a Mr. Allen JOHNSON who purported to be a commodities trader for Avant Garde Financial at Tokyo, Japan, and offered trading in gold which initially appeared very successful.

I was then contacted by a Mr Kevin WINTER and Mr. Richard WAINWRIGHT of the same comapny telling me how to deposit more and more money.

My initial investment had to be paid to the Bank of CHINA, Hong Kong Branch who refused to answer my queries about the company on the basis that they did not understand my question about the veracity of the company. I shal follow this up further with BOC but in the meantime the people involved cannot be contacted by phone or e-mail and registered mail to the company address in Tokyo has twice been reurned as "Retour Inconnu" for registered mail.

This company is STILL advertized on Google and perhaps elsewhere and I would be obliged if someone can advise me how we arrange for GOOGLE to warn of scams.

I have been taken for a lot of money by Strathclyde Associates over the past few years. I have only myself to blame for throwing good money after bad, having listened to these very plausible people. What a waste of sales talent, I'm sure they could be successful in a legitimate company. However, they have chosen to be thieves and I have made up my mind to see them prosecuted. I have made reports to CID, England and also the banks they have used. There is always a paper trail and eventually they will be traced. If anyone reading this has been scammed please make a report and let's see them all go to jail.

They are at it again. Got call from "Reliance Financial" saying they had company wanting to buy my (useless) AMG shares for high price. Several phone calls later they advise me there is a "lien" on the shares. (Lien being I cannot sell them). They say lawyer will have lien lifted but must pay retainer in advance (Several thousand Euro). Ha effing ha.

Had an interesting call from Alex Clark from Springhill. No idea how they got my number, but wanted me to invest in Norton Scientific based on the same huge Bayer deal.

Same situation.
I have no idea how they got my number (specially since they called on my work phone which i never disclose) nor my work address in Singapore.
Had a short first call (which I cant really remember) and then received a high quality ad from Springhill, based in South Korea.
Then a new call (done by VOIP phone) with a very aggressive sales person trying to have me buy Norton Scientific shares because there was some huge deal in progress (Bayer going to buy Norton Scientific) which has not been disclosed yet.

I have no interest in earning money through shares, so just spent 20 minutes listening to him for the fun. He did become very agitated ("you don't understand... you must be young and stupid to pass something like that) blablabla.
If I wanted to buy shares why in hell would I do it through a South Korea company (considering I live in Singapore).
