I recently had my electric service turned on at a new address and was charged $54.00 connection fee. I was never told I would be charged this amount as I would not have ordered the service. Stream has no explanation and refuses to help me in any way. I have talked to TX NM Power Company who says stream initiated this charge. I ;have had several accounts with stream in the past without any problem. I am being royally screwed and stream insists that I pay this outrageous connection fee. Help is impossible to find, stream just wants to get rid of me by saying there is nothing they can do.
