I took online classes from Ashford University to gain my Bachelors degree being mislead and pressured into taking classes that either did not get me the job to the degree I received or classes I totally did not need to take. I am now in $10,000.00 debt with students loans which I cannot pay since I am only working part-time making just above min. wage. I completely made it aware to the several advisors that I was assisgned that my intend was to gain a English degree to teach high school english in the state of Pennsylvania. They continued to assure me that I would be able to take the state test once I received my B.A. which was not true at all. The only way to fulfill my dream is to take more classes to gain my Masters degree which means more money. Ashford should be held accountable for the student debt and disappointment they have created.
