Poor car service

My car PLS 855 Given for major service and Air-con problem
After service now am getting major sound at dash board
Puchang Jaya mechanic not willing to take and solve the problem and stating that the problem already exists
My question if it is already exists why can't they informed earlier before starting. Why they are informing when I face the issue
To be honest o never face this issue earlier. I need justify
