I am Adele Marshall the owner of Tankrtots and since this review entitled "Jensen" is not filed as a complaint I have no ability to answer this review against me. This buyer signed a contract between herself and the breeder agreeing to the stipulation that she would cover all vet bills for her puppy if a situation arose that was unforeseen. This was not a puppy from one of my personal litters it was from a family I help place puppies for. When she notified me of Jensen's issue I quickly told her about an affordable local vet I knew of that would literally reduce her cost by 75% or more. She chose not to listen to me and keep her puppy at the vet near her home which was expensive for the exact same treatment he would have gotten at mine for a fraction of the cost. I care very much about the puppies I help place for the breeders I work for and the families who buy them. I was able to get her a "guarantee" puppy from the breeder through the agreement in the contract since Jensen's problem was genetic in nature and I sold her guarantee puppy to one of my buyers for her and sent her every penny of the money. I took no commission on the sale and mailed her $2500. She conveniently neglected to mention this. She and I both know how hard I tried to make things right and I always do. This site never allows the person being trashed to answer complaints when someone posts a review. They can say anything they like and not tell the whole truth. I love my puppies and do everything in my power to sell healthy ones however when DNA and mother nature have other plans it's impossible to know which puppies are going to have issues. When it does happen I do everything I can to minimize the cost and help my families out.

Our family bought a bull dog from Adele at Tankrtots on 7/30/17. 6 days later he came down with a very high fever and was tired, so I took him to our vet. Our vet immediately sent us to the animal hospital where he stayed fighting for his life for 6 days. Vet bills are
at 4900.00. He was released with a diagnosis of IMPA. An Immune-mediated arthritis that attacks their bodies. He is born with it and will need medication and special needs his lifetime. When I was speaking with Adele, she clarified she is not responsible or would pay any of the medical bills. We took him to the hospital because he needed over night care and she said, we did not go to her vet.
Beware!!!!! This is a serious expense and even more so, very sad for the puppy and family members to go through.
Her vet is the one who approved of selling the puppy to us.
