About 7am on Friday morning, i awoke to the sound of a sudden deafening silence which I then realized was my power that had just been disconnected. I looked outside and saw the TECO truck. While in route to confront the man who had turned it off, I quickly made a payment online with my phone and was on the phone with TECO entering my receipt number on the keypad when I arrived at his still sitting truck. I explained to him that my electricity was just paid and the receipt number had just been given to TECO. He had the nerve to tell me, "Sorry ma'am, I don't do reconnects. There will be someone out to reconnect you as soon as the order goes out." WTF. Are you kidding me? Needless to say, my electricity did not get reconnected until almost 3pm that day. TECO, you should be ashamed of yourself not to mention you have a bunch of lazy technitions on your staff.
