SCAMS

We, as quite a number of other instances have been harassed by persons from White Pages Online, scamming people to sign fraudulent/bogus documents to "update" company details. They assure you that there is no cost involved. Neither does any amount appear on the document.

Subsequently they send an invoice for a ridiculous amount, threatening with the credit bureau. Their documents do not have proper logo or address. The telephone number is an automated answer. The so called credit bureau is also suspect.

There are numerous complaints on Hello Peter - all in the same vein.

Could we appeal to someone to please investigate this matter!

Telkom

I just want to let people know how Telkom likes taking money from us and never follow up on the request one needs, last month on the 9th June I needed a paid up letter from them till today no one has responded to mails and even ABSA asked Telkom the for the letter and till today I’m still waiting for Nokuthula Hlongwane, Mtheki Tsuputse, Nomazulu Mpofu Nothando Mlonyeni to respond. I even cancel since I don’t see a point working with them and yet even month they debit my money.

Now they sending me letter saying I need to fill my account with money so that they can debit and yet they can’t send paid up letter... wow TELKOM leave me alone and go rob other people.

New installation ADSL 4MBPS

I am so irritated with your service. On 1 October 2018, we had our uncapped adsl line installed. Apparently our order has not been closed by whichever back office person, and to this day we don't have a uncapped line.

I have been following up with telkom everyday a few times a day since the 1st of October 2018, trying to get someone who knows what they are doing to sort out our line as it should be. These follow ups have been going on everyday since the line has been installed. The query always gets escalate to back office and I can never seem to speak to whoever has to do the closing of the order. I have to answer the same questions over and over and explain the same thing over and over. The agents don't assist with a supervisor, saying it won't help. I get empty promises that within 24 hours or 48 hours everything will be done and corrected, all these calls deplete my airtime daily which has accumulated over two weeks. I sincerely hope that there is no charge to me until such time as line is active and that I will compensated for both my time and airtime. your urgent attention in this regard is required.

fraud account open in my name

Good morning my name is Kgaogelo from Pretoria. I have a complaint again Telkom, i had Tablet contract with them for 2 years and this year in may my contract was supposed to end. Them i got a mail in February this year that a contract phone was opened in my name . The worse part of it the address of the new contract says i stay in Park town and i have never stayed or worked in park town, I have forwarded an affidavit and copy of my ID to prof that i have never opened the account, even today i have never got a response from Telkom. It mean someone within the company used my details to do fraud in my name... Telkom is incompetent, and their service is bad. I ant an apology , my name to be cleared from the ITC and i want to be compensated for this mess . I will never take any credit with Telkom again, am really disappointed . People must be careful about this stores , they do fraud in our names,they musnt desperate for sales...I have also send email with all the documents to [email protected]

Upgrade

Not a happy customer !!! cant believe Telkom drops their customers just like that -- 1st it takes me two weeks to try and get them to awncer their phones untill i took time off work to upgrade my adsl line to a 4meg line because telkom brags about this fast internet all over the show !! so now six day`s later after calling every day and holding on for an avarage of 30min per call i get told O SORRY this upgrade is not possible W T F ??? Telkom already gave me a user name and password for my new and FAST 4meg line WICH THEY CAN NOT UPGRADE ME TO ! Why waist my time like that PLEASE RESPOND

Upgrade

You cannot complain about Telkom's service because there is none. As long as it remains a state run business you will not receive any service delivery because they dont know the meaning of the word. A customer is a nuissance that they can do with out. Recently, my wife and i, went to the Pavillion branch in Westville and the lady behind the counter was doing her nails and her makeup while we waited at the counter. She asked us what we wanted and told us that some one would attend to us. She then got up and went into the shopping centre. This happened at 10h30 in the morning

SLOW ADSL Line speed,

Hi i have this Problem with Telkom...i have a 4MB Line with them...Recently 3 weeks ago i lodge complain about my Download Speed, Internet line dropping and Cutting out...3 complaints i lodged...with 3 reference numbers...Telkom never came back to me reagrding my situation...i am until now the 15/12/2010 still waiting...they say they cant do nothing regarding the situation...please is there anyone who can help me to sort this out with Telkom...

SLOW ADSL Line speed,

I have the exact same problem, i have logged about 5 complaints and had their technicians out. My line has been cutting out for about 5 months now and i cant find a solution!!! I hate Telkom and everything they stand for "monopoly" privatise this sector and you will see results!!!
