I have suffered all of my life with discolored and sensitive teeth, which every dentist I see has told me it was from the tetracycline I was given as a child. I am 53 years old and have never felt comfortable smiling, having my picture taken, or just relaxing and enjoying myself around family and friends. People are always saying too me, "smile, it can't be that bad", if they only knew what was hiding behind my frown. I have tried whitening strips, toothpaste and at home whitening trays from the dentist office, but unfortunately, after all of the mess and pain, nothing has worked.
