I too am a victim of tetracycline staining to my teeth, was give the drug as a small baby for asthma symptoms/ chest infections. This has ruined my life with horrible staining of my teeth, I then developed cystic acne and wax prescribed minocycline , I don't know if this has added to the problem, had my top teeth veneered 15 years ago on the NHS. A couple of them fractured and one fell off, despite the dentist attempting to fix this one it fell off after 48 hours 3 times, went back to the NHS dental hospital who said i couldn't have treatment as they didn't know the effects the antibiotic would cause at the time therefore I couldn't have treatment on the NHS.in my opinion it is neglegence on the part of the drug company, they need to pay up ....I am 58 years of age now and this has held me back personally and professionally, have just come back from the dentist and am having 8 veneers replaced at the cost of almost 6000.00 pounds, that's before I even discuss the bottom teeth.we need to made a stand and confront thus multi million pound company and get the compensation we deserve .
