I driven a group 18 down from Orange, Park FL for an event for the weekend. There were 15 of the group decided to make reservation at Texas Road House 5710 Ranch Lake Rd. Server: Matthew on 4-11-14 @9:22pm 50041. After being seated, Matthew the waiter started at my table taking drink order. I ordered a tea half n half and since I was on the end he started with me first. He then showed up a while later (understandably it was crowed) taking orders, again starting with me. Another person in the party ordered the same thing but cooked different. Well, while the and a waitress returned periodically before the food asking individuals did they need a refill. Not once did I get asked even after someone in my party said she had half n half and the waitress(another worker) said "oh" never returning. Once, Matthew the waiter began to bring out our order and my order wasn't there. He assured openly not directly to me my order was coming. After serving my entire group even the meal that was exactly like mines he stated again openly said her meal is coming. Finally, after my party is completely finished their meals he bring not only my meal but the wrong meal and ask do anybody need a to go box. I took the meal any way and boxed it up making a dicision not to address the issue for many reasons. One I was working, two I didn't want nothing to escalate and three I didn't want to ruin anyone else meal. I couldn't help but at that time feel that not only was I the only African American but in the restaurant my have contribute to the poor service I was given. I received my recipt with the correct order even though I was served the wrong meal (strange) and I paid it also given him a $5 cash tip inspite of how I was treated. I took my boxed meal and went to my bus to continue to wait as the rest of the group paid for their meals.
