The IA Group (www.theiagroup.com), employed a large number of consultants from various nationalities (Locals and Expats) around Kuala Lumpur to help on SAP ABAP development due to their tight schedule, with a project known as 1GFMAS, located in Putrajaya, Jabatan Akauntan Negara Malaysia. A batch of contractors that i know, who worked from May 2016 to July 2016 has not been paid until now. The contract ended end of July and the contract stated that the payment will be given by then.

Unfortunately, after submitting requirements and getting approvals from the Team/Module leads, there were no payment. The contractors are emailing everyday if not every other day for updates to no avail. There are times that they respond but the answers are unclear, and the next response will be unknown despite the many follow ups.

Some of the contractors are still being asked to work even in this case, which is weird.

Now that the end of August 2016 is coming, some of the expats have already accepted job offers from other countries, and are clueless on what steps to make in order to get the payment that they should be getting.

I hope that this complaint reach anyone concerned or any other contractors/part timers hired by The IA Group for them to give inputs on this situation that can be of help to them.
