Scammers, grabbed the membership fee $99, never communicated or answered their phones. Eventually got emails of upcoming events. When I tried to select an event for the first time and the day before I actually got a message it was cancelled. I was "promised" a credit so I selected another future event within a month of each other. Then I got what was probably my first phone call from a guy named Tom to tell me the second event I made my reservation for was cancelled! He offered yet another credit which never materialized promising me a refund in the mail. Everyone had disappeared and I know this felon Barry Adelson is behind it. If he hasn't yet been arrested he will sooner or later or something worse will happen to him I hope. By the way the scam is setup in a mail room they rent (Pak Ship), there is no office. This is the reality in Florida as the fraud capital of the U.S.

I applied for membership, which included 99.00 dollars for one year. I did not hear from company for two weeks. After calling them and writing a persuasive e-mails, they called and said that newsletter was in the mail. I did get the newsletter which was made of construction paper with very unprofessional looking information about these "so called" gourmet singles’ dinners. The dinners were all in the Boca Raton, Coral Springs, Fort Lauderdale, etc. There were no dinners nor any type of singles’ outings in the Miami-Dade County area. I did not do my research before applying for membership to The Single Gourmet, so I was deceived and lost my money. I have e-mailed, called, and no one answers the phone. I have not recieved any online newsletter, nor any other type of membership info. Please note that this man Barry Adelson seems to have a fraud type business which might be a franchise of the Single Gourmet Company. Finally, they claim that there are singles outing in the Miami-Dade County area which of course not true!
Do not consider this membership unless you want to waste your money.
