fraud--misleading new consumers
Miriam in Philippines misled with info about delayed billing for installation.
The technician arrives and demands immediate payment.
My questions re: compatibility with modem were ignored.
Technician arrived and could not use modem (but...could charge me $10/month for one).
Cancelled service before even started--
Transferred to customer solutions--Chris--could barely get enough energy to say name, but once I asked for supervisor...
he could not stop explaining about how long it would be, and what could he do, and anything to try to get me to hang up.
Charity (supervisor after 38 minutes on phone) only pointed out what Miriam and technician did incorrectly and used the bank as an excuse for why my $34.99 could not be removed from my bank authorization.
Miriam told me this would be a monthly autopay; Charity says that they do not authorize that.
Time Warner Cable is not honest and misleads customers. Fast Internet, but not worth the lies.
Sadly, I can only get 1.5 gps with their competitor and no DISH or DirectTV allowed in my complex.
Monopoly thrives and has no consequences.
This was a similar situation to when I moved to Raleigh and TWC was the only company offered; Fios isn't even allowed in NC.
Why does this still continue in 2014??? Have we Americans not moved beyond the corruption and monopolies of the 1920's?
Shame on our system for allowing this.
