I borrowed 2000.dollars on my pickup and have paid for 8month and I still owe the same amount

I Connie Ibarra got a loan with title max loan for the amount of $2000.00dollars and I have paid for 8month and I still owe the same amount do you think this is OK.

If I don't give more than my regular payment of 317 my account doesn't go down.

I think they are robbing people by having the whole payment just going to the interest. I was not aware of this until I gave my first payment and saw that the loan didn't go down. Isn't this against the law?
