Do your research before you buy from Big Bulldogs. A lot of people post how wonderful their dogs are and so is mine . . . except for the fact that she has not been healthy since we bought her. I should have known better with the obvious signs at the so called “breeder’s” business, e.g. two dogs with horrible cases of mange, several with obvious eye infections, several quarantined in cages in a warm, humid room and who knows what else we didn’t see. Yes, there were dogs that appeared healthy, including the one we purchased. First off she was advertised as 12 weeks old and while getting acquainted with her, we were informed she was 5 months old but very small for a dog with such big paws (not unlike others reported concerns). Upon purchasing her and being presented with the paperwork which included her birthdate, we learned she was actually 7 months old. Oh, but this was a good thing according to Todd because at this age “if there were health problems they would be evident and she was healthy.” So after dropping $3800, we left happy with with our cute little bundle of joy. Here we are 4 months later and an additional $4000 poorer after treating ear and eye problems and the worst cases of giardia and urinary tract infections our vet has ever seen. Apparently the longer these conditions go untreated the harder they are to clear up. Todd claims we are being soaked by our Orange County vets, that all puppies have giardia, and he could have fixed the problem upon first notice (that’s curious - if he could have cleared it up that easily why didn’t he keep her (and all those other dogs) healthy while he had her. I love this dog and feel bad for everything she has been through. Wish her “breeder” cared as much about Bulldogs as he claims he does. Just saying . . . BUYER BEWARE . . . supporting this business keeps it and it’s bad practices going.

It all started with my cousin buying a French bulldog on December 2016. He was extremely excited to only learn the dog had parvo within two days of bringing him home.todd questioned the vet we went to that has been around for over twenty years. He made my cousin feel as if it was his fault the dog had a illness . Wen we arrived at his house to pick up are replacent he said , "I don't know what you did to the dog but don't kill this one ." He comes off like a jerk off know it all. So I made the mistake not knowingly yet of going back and purchasing another puppy for myself almost a year later . I purchased the dog and assuming I got to take it home than he goes ,"she has a little bit of medicine she needs to finish call me Saturday and arrange for pick up on Sunday." So I did as instructed and was told call back Tuesday..so we waited and Tuesday came along with about forty pills and my puppy. I left thinking I need to take her to a vet immediately to make sure she is ok . I took her to a bulldog specialist who has been around for over thirty years and they told me they have never seen the medicine they have no idea what it is and to stop taking it and take the new meds she gave me so I did as instructed and within two days my dog had a cold that sounded worst than a 20yr long tabacco smoker . So I rushed her back to the vet asap and she just was getting worst sounding as if she was choking on air . The vet than took X-rays and found a genetic defect with its throat & said return to the breeder asap the dog is going to have nothing but complications it whole life and will more than likely pass away soon if surgery is not performed. My next step was informing Todd and he was not happy due to the fact he was in Las Vegas at a party and it was also in his words," the dog is sick because you stopped giving it the f***ing medicine I gave you." All I did was follow doctors orders and stopped the unknown medicine from Mexico and instant sickness came . We came to the conclusion that I would bring the dog to him so he could get her back to health. I dropped her off and the next day informed him that he sold me a sick dog and I didn't want it back and I want a refund .He gave me two weeks of medicine so that my puppy would be ok for the first two weeks so he could be exempt from the puppy lemon law. He however did return my money and gave me a tour of his facility which disgusted me . He had over twenty dogs and that's not stretching the truth by any meens and every single one was sick . He showed me his homemade breathing treatments he does wich consist of a human nebulizer attached to a rubber storage container . The vet I went to said the Trachea is less than 1/3 the normal size and should not be sold. He had over twenty dogs with breathing problems Dont get me wrong they are cute but are suffering in his care . I hope for the dogs sake someone puts a stop to him selling sick dogs drugged up on meds from God only knows where. I later learned he is suspended from the akc tell 2017 and he is still selling akc paperwork along with dogs...he is the definition of fraud and is ruining the breed by selling thse genetically f***ed dogs. I wash the bestntomhis animals and that's the end of story. Avoid mr Todd Howard at all costs because he will sell u a sick dog givin the chance .

I WOULD LIKE TO INFORM THE PUBLIC THAT TODD FROM BIGBULLDOGS HAS NOTIFIED US CONCERNING THE LOSS OF OUR ENGLISH BULLDOG GUSSY.HE WISHES TO CORRECT OUR LOSS. I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE BACK MY COMPLAINT ABOUT THIS MAN.

WE PURCHASED ENGLISH BULLDOG GUSSY DEC 2015.AFTER 12 MONTHS STARTED HAVING SEIZURES.HE LOST HIS BATTLE MONDAY MARCH 14,2016.WHEN IT FIRST HAPPENED TODD WAS NOTIFIED ONLY BECAUSE WE WERE SO SCARED.THINGS MOVED SO FAST.TODD TEXTED ONCE.WE PAID 3500 FOR OUR BOY AND OVER 3,000 TO SAVE GUSSY BOY.TODD IS A DISHONEST BREEDER.WE NOTIFIED HIM OF OUR LOSS AND HE NEVER RESPONDED.PLEASE,PLEASE IF I CAN SAVE ONE PERSON FROM THIS KIND OF PAIN PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH.HE TALKS A GOOD GAME.

We purchased a 3 month plus old english bull dog from Todd, he is over two years now with ABSOLUTLEY NO problems we actually take him to Dr. Butchco a BULLDOG Vet in Riverside! I have noticed since owning my Bully that people buy these dogs and do not do enough research on HOW...you should take care of them!!! Almost everyone I meet thinks they are problematic! CRAP! It is the owner that is responsible for PROPER care! This Dog is NOT a backyard feed em and Leavem!!! My dog RUNS JUMPS and Climbs Does Tricks Speaks and has pearly whites and gorgeous muscles and a bright white coat! I take exceptional care of MY Bully! I still feed him IAMS just as TODD said and he is healthy and beautiful! I get compliments on him always! And his temper is wonderful! I think there is somethin else going on here...I would buy another dog from Todd in a heart beat!
