On the 07/08/2015 in the evening. I went shopping with a friend of mine in the Truworths clothing store. Upon arrival there were security guards who were at the door and another opposite a few clothing isles. I answered a phone call and put my phone back into my friends bag as I had no bag. When my friend and I approached the shoe section, she wanted to make a phone call. We both searched for the phone in our bags only to find out that the phone was missing. My friend suspected two ladies who were around us who left after we saw that the phone was missing. I am very angry and disappointed that firstly that one of the staff members in the store found the matter amusing which I found as sarcastic. The other matter is that when we approached the security and manager we were told that there are no cameras within the store. This was disappointing for a store of that size. Lastly after I approached the staff to request to make a phone call as both my friend and I did not have a phone to be collected at the mall. One of the staff members mentioned that she cannot help me. I had to fight with the staff member then ask for the manager to be called in order to make a simple phone call.

I do not recommend this store for two reasons there is not security and the level of customer service is appalling.
