My ticket was bought on August 25th 2011 and was supposed to travel on Sep 6th 2011.Due to unforseen circumstances I had to cancel my flight and I was advised that I have 1 year basically till August 24th 2012 to book a seat to travel.
I have called them on the 20th, 22nd and today on 8/24/2012 to book a seat for next month. I was first advised that I will have to travel 100 miles to their office in JFK to pay the penalty of $325. I have arrived at the airport which is 100 miles from my residence and then I was informed that I actually have to travel out tomorrow and not next month and they are apologizing but will accommodate or help.
Currently I am on hold trying to reach their Customer Relations office in Turkey Tel # 001 90 212 4684848. I am still on hold and my phone says I am on hold for 1 hour 33 minutes.The music is continuously on and if I don't pay a penalty today this ticket will be null and void
I have paid $1000 for this ticket and them giving me wrong information and making me run around is really a shame for an international airline towards a paying customer.
I would like you to please remedy this situation asap
