Today i was at Turkish airline office in Alexandria. the story is like this: i with my husband we was wanting to book 2 ticket in one way, the girl say ok and after that she need to check the visa, and it was ok, but after arrived one person (Mohamed, he without hairs) and begin speak in very strange way like he is responsible of the airport, but in the same moment he even don't asked what we need and he was speaking by his hands with sarcastic way, and like he is speaking with someone from the street or one of his family from his home, just to show that he is right without any explanations, and then my husband said to him please watch your language, then this Mohamed answered to my husband and said that you must go in the airport and show there that you must have 2000 usd and to show reservation of hotel where you'll stay!!!, but sorry we already present all documents in embassy and my husband already have the visa, so its means that we present special documents to the embassy to allowed him enter the country. So this men even didn't ask for which kind of visa we have, and when we showed him he couldn't understand the kind of visa, the point was that this person not qualified and not polite. One time he said what he want and direct he turned and went away!! Where is the respect to the clients?? People like him can't work in this career, he don't know how to explain to the costumer information.
PS After this situation we went to another travel agency and we booked there tickets without any problems, the girls there explain all information in polite way.

False Advertisement
For the past whole month of June Turkish airline was advertising a special fare from Chicago to LJUL Slovania for $349.00 roundtrip with the bold print "Book thru 30th, Nov. 2014". with the travel dates between Nov 1st. to Nov. 30th. When I tried to take advantage of the deal and attempted to book, I discovered that the special pricing is only available 60 days before departure and that would be after Sept. 1st. 2014. And even before the special pricing would kick in the deal is no longer available on Turkish Airline website. I have screenshot of the advertised special and have reported this scam to the Department of Transport website, In addition I have also reported this to the Illinois Attorney General Office, If you witness the same, I strongly encourage you to report them. Thanks.

discrimantion
My daughter and I were missed treated by turkish airline ground employees in Istanbul. We found that the men were attended to in a professional manner and not the women. I've written a complaint regarding this (5 pg. letter) with no response. Furthermore i was injured on the aircraft and doo not know where to send the dr.etc, bills. I've contacted them about this with no response
