WORST SCHOOL YOU CAN EVER ATTEND! They lie all the time and promise things that they never give you! It’s completely unorganized!!! I’m currently a student and I just want this to be over! The staff is extremely GHETTO and most of them are unfriendly! They hype you up during your onboard process and make it look so fun then you become a student and see it’s not that at all!! You see a new set of ppl weekly because they quit or got fired. We even got a new HEAD like a week or so ago! They rotate in that building like a temp agency! They treat the students like they not adults when everyone who attends are. The tablets they give you are cheap and don’t work! I’m currently doing my externship (170 hours no pay) and i’m supposed to graduate in November however I got out of school the 23rd of this month and I don’t even start my externship until tomorrow! Graduation is in November and I only have until the last week of October to actually complete my hours !!! Like time is ticking! Like they are tying to force me to graduate in June of next year when I’m going to finish school this year. It’s the 31st!! It’s their job to find you an office to go to directly when you get out of school to do your externship. I’ve legit had nothing but problems with them from day one. I had to do take my high school courses on top of my Dental assistant courses and work full time! They expect you to full blown do both in a short amount of time which I did however they are holding my diploma and telling me even though I passed that I won’t get any of my certificates until I do externship and if I dnt complete that I won’t get anything I did complete. Clearly that’s not fair! I legit pay every month to go to this stupid school Every day we were in school they were changing the rules about something and they don’t send out flyers they leave the instructor to let us know what new rules they put in place and expect us to remember everything that they’ve come up with that day. They took away our x-ray segment because they said it was too dangerous however being a dental assistant you literally need x-ray experience in order to do your job!! When I first started school we didn’t even get our uniforms until about three months into school! The school is so bad that none of the dental offices even want to work with us we’re losing contracts and they are to the point where they are telling us not to even mention that this was our school!! I was also threatened by one of my classmates in front of my instructor and she did nothing. It was by a guy the whole classroom was a witness and he said that he was going to put his hands on me or have someone pull up to school and fight me because I didn’t give him the answers to my test. It’s so much more I could say. This school has emotionally damaged me and others I’m sure. It’s a lot of false advertisement going around their. Just anything to get you in the door and make you pay. And everything you have to find out as you go because they don’t tell you anything in the beginning.
