No payment received

Good day,

My name is Stacey-Leigh. I have claimed for my UIF maternity benefit in the month of February. The department then had an system issue where by customer's received double payments. I then called the UIF offices in Cape Town and advised of this. I was then advised that I need to return the money, which I did on the 12 and 13 March 2018. I had to return the money via two payments due to my bank limit. I then sent the proof of payment as requested. I used my ID number as reference when making this payment. I called the UIF offices on numerous occasions and was advised that I need to send proof of the payment to them. I then sent a screen shot of my bank statement where the payment was made. No-one advised me that the screen shot is not acceptable. I then followed up once again and was advised thereof. I then sent a PDF copy of my bank statement on the 30 May 2018 and was advised that they will be forwarding the details to Pretoria in order for the payment to be made to me. I called numerous times in June and was advised that I need send a copy of a UI 2.8 and a copy of my ID which I did on the 21 June 2018. It is a month later and still nothing. I then called the UIF office in July and spoke to the supervisor who then emailed Pretoria asking for feedback on the issue. No body replied this email. I did a follow up on the 19 July requesting feedback and still nothing. I called the offices in Pretoria and no one can provide me with answers. They then emailed someone to call me and still nothing. I am receiving letters for outstanding payments which I made as I have the proof. This letter advises that legal action will be taken. This is totally unacceptable as I am waiting almost 5 months for this payment. People rely on this money as not the full salary is received. I have a little one that I need to see to and being kept on a hanger for the money is actually sad. I am the one who does the follow ups. I am the one who have to buy airtime. No one has the decency to call me to provide me with an update or feedback.
