Overcharged at ULTA hair salon

My first time at ULTA hair salon. I made an appointment over the phone, and explained I just need a trim & color with some highlights. They randomly booked me with a stylist since I had never been there & had no preference for a particular stylist. Well, the hairstylist did not follow the instructions I brought with me from my previous hairstylist, who wrote down for me the exact color and exactly how many foils I always require for my blonde highlights. I have very thin, fine, medium length hair (barely reaches the bottom of my bra on my back) and I came in for a color, blonde highlights and a trim. The stylist took 7 hours to finish my hair (after the first 3 hours, she had only colored the roots of my hair and given me blonde highlights from top to bottom— to which, she had claimed before starting, that this was all I needed for my desired look— but this resulted in uneven, mismatched hair colors on the top and bottom of my hair. Since I wasn't happy with it, the stylist took several more hours correcting the uneven color. To do so, she highlighted the bottom of my hair using the same color she used to color my roots.) After patiently enduring how extremely slow the stylist worked on my hair, the final result of my hair was still not really what I had originally asked for but it didn't look awkwardly two-toned anymore. What's almost worse than being displeased with my hair and enduring the extremely slow service, was being surprised with an enormous $400 bill afterwards! I expressed my grievances to the manager, who grudgingly took $100 off of the bill. Still, I feel very taken advantage of, as $300 is still extremely expensive for my hair type and for the job I asked to have done which wasn't even done properly. I am utterly upset and disgusted by the enormous bill I was forced to pay after enduring a painfully long seven hours—all with a rather unfriendly stylist who spoke to me only when spoken to— to finally leave with only a somewhat decent hair color & trim. I never asked for an "elite" hairstylist, or for any gloss treatment for my highlights, or for any special bayaloge hair color correction, or even for a blowout. Yet, I was charged for a total of 8 different salon services inclusing being charged $55 every half hour for an "elite" stylist to put all that the crap on my hair that I never asked for or even knew that I was being charged extra for! I was never told about pricing and never asked if I wanted any extra services or treatments on my hair, instead, every so often, I was told by the hairstylist, Kirby, that she was doing this or that to my hair because "that's how we do hair here".

overcharged and quality of service

I scheduled an appointment at Ulta Salon in Wichita, KS for partial highlights and cut/style. When I went in I explained to the stylist I wanted the gray at my hairline covered plus partial highlights. She said I needed to do all over to make it blend better. I asked if she meant all over color plus highlights and she said yes. When she finished, I had all over highlights making my brunette hair almost blonde. I was charged for all over highlights, retouch plus all over color which came to $167! I questioned the stylist and her response was that is what the prices are. There was no salon manager on duty so I spoke with the retail manager and all she could do is take my name and number and gave the salon manager call me the next day. I'm so upset about this plus my haircut is uneven. I have a short bob so this overcharge was outrageous. I'm going back in this morning to try again to get refunded plus fix the bad haircut.
