Deepa Nishalini has indicated you are a person they've done business with at UNI Strategic:
Hi
I am a conference producer currently seeking for trainers to conduct a workshop on Risk Management in Dubai sometime between mid-August to early-September.
Is the topic within your scope of expertise, and would you be interested in conducting this training for us?
Regards,
Deepa

Spam Emails

I've tried so many times to get my email from their mailing list, but it appears that they kept changing the first names in the email so that I keep getting spam emails from them. I don't trust this organisation, since there really don't allow you to 'unsubscribe' and uses trick to still send you useless mails. I pledge not to send my staff to any of their training due to their very unprofessional behaviour.

lying cheating good for nothing company

I am a former employee as of 2015. This company is a fraud. they try to cheat their staff by writing the wrong payout date on salary slips. And the hr/account head ms choy foong is so unqualified and is the one who produces all the FAKE TT SLIPS. It is a miracle how they withold money from trainers hotels printer vendors and somehow when the company gets threatened is able to pay just like that.

They have created a fake person called stephen kapoor which in reality is actually mr.pervinder singh.
Do not even bother sending an email to this stephen. Instead i advise you to head on to the office or get your lawyer involved as i believe they think they can get away with it as most trainers are foreigners and there is really no way to get the police involved.

Also do not even believe for one second that the delegates attending havent paid. It usually takes just two or three delegates to cover the entire cost.

If at all possible avoid working with these theives unless you are one. For future employees please note that they do not cover the extra expenses for example if you need to go to an event to drop of something the cost will be yours to bear. And they can just go around minusing your pay as and how they like without any valid calculation.

For future trainers, please make sure your requirements are 100% paid before the event and only attend if you have already receieved the money in your bank account if not i suggest you dont waste your time. They are desperate as their reputation is practically nonexistent. Do not fall for lame excuses and sweet talk and a promise of more work. I mean whats the point of working if you dont get paid.

For future hotels and investors do not believe the size of the company i have heard time and time again the number of employees exaggerated. In kuala lumpur there is only around 30 people max. This company is going down the drain and dont be a fool to go down with it.

UNI Strategic - Stephen Kapoor

Hi All,

There is no Stephen Kapoor in UNI Strategic, all this mention "Stephen Kapoor" is just a shadow, so that when you all trying to complaint or finding this person, what will you do? Have you meet this person? Have you call this person? Have you able to speak to him?

I guess no, anything with Stephen Kapoor you are only able to liaise with him thru email, please make a call or go to their office, spend some of your time, and yes, UNI Strategic was not even meet the International standard.

UNI Strategic (M'Sia Sdn Bhd

UNI Strategic (M'sia) Sdn Bhd
Level 30, Menara Bank Islam
No. 22, Jalan Perak
50450 Kuala Lumpur

I am an Australian GRC specialist. Like many of the above complainants I have also conducted training for UNI Strategic. I have done a number of courses for this company. My experience has been mixed. On 2 occasions all payments were met with no issues. On one occasion I was paid the initial pre-course payment of 50%. I then had to fight over 4 months to get the remainder. I finally sent an email to my course delegates telling them and referring them to various blogs about UNI Strategic. I copied the company, Mr Stephen Kapoor. Strangely all their administrative issues were solved that night and I received funds within 48 hours.
Now I am trying to obtain my 50% balance of fees from a course delivered in Bangkok in November. The usual, including a scanned TT which was made out to the wrong bank. To this date (3 weeks after receiving the TT) my bank has yet to see anything from UNI Strategic. Others have referred in various blogs to this TT activity as a scam. It certainly has every appearance of being so.

If this blog does not result in payment I will again email all my delegates and the head office of the main corporates that sent delegates.
The pity is the conference staff are a delight to work with. Then they have to take the brunt of the complaints due to their finance management running a scam.

UNI Strategic is a criminal organization !

Penang, 11th September 2014

To the Police Officers whom it concerns,

Herewith I, undersigned, report the failure to comply with payment of the service fee by the company “UNI Strategic” as stated in the copy of the herewith attached agreement.
Based on this Course Facilitator Agreement, dated 14 April 2014, I have conducted the Training ST 2178 ‘Custody Transfer Metering’ on 23-25th June 2014 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Evidence that I have indeed conducted this training is amongst others clear from the also herewith attached copy of the evaluation form that I have received via Joanne Tye after the training (7th July ’14).
According to the agreement I should have received the service fee of 4500 USD after the 60 days which means the 24th August.
Since then up to date I have requested the payment of my salary via the following UNI employees:
Ms. Joanne Tye (has left UNI), Ms. Charity Lim, Ms. May Chua, Mr. Ahmad Fathim, Mr. Kent Khoo, Ms. Joey C. and Mr Stephen Kapoor. The last person is involved with the financial issues.
On the 22nd August Mr. Kapoor has send a copy of a Telegraphic Transfer, see also copy here.
After waiting several days no money still had not been paid into my HSBC account and so I have given a copy of the Telegraphic Transfer form to HSBC for further investigation.

However, at HSBC no information could be found anywhere that the transfer has actually been made and further more thorough investigation via the mentioned UOB Bank showed that not any record exists of this transaction and so it is likely that the pretended transfer is fake !

On the 4th September I have sent a registered Summation Letter to the address of UNI Strategic in Singapore, see attached copy, where I indicate to transfer the money within 5 days.
Up to date I still haven’t received the money and UNI employees (see contact info below) are simply no longer reacting.
For latter reasons I have now decided to take legal steps which implies that I now lodge a police report for further investigation into this case of failure to comply with the said agreement.

UNIStrategic

I was not aware of all the complaints against them. I taught a course for them in Kuala Lumpur back in April and have yet to get paid (August 15, 2014).

One of their competitors is helping me file a claim with the Small Claims Tribunal to recover fees and expenses.

No paid for resignation as a newbies

Does not pay for salary. Wasting time, bad working environment. Pass them the resignation letter with notice and they just terminated me after they discuss with the GM by assuming my resignation letter 7days ago without paying me a single cents.

Working in this company is worst, they assume that they are so professionals and very presentable but actually is not. All the fortune companies operators can recognize the voice of the UNI staff and just wack the phone. In the world today how can people work without a computer? They assume the staff to work 24 hours a day with the company and it is very difficult that sometime you need to do research at home whereas they don't allow the staff to do research during working hours. Basically this is company who is very bad and stingy.

The working hours for this office is 1130-2030 or 1200-2100. Just imagine you work and this time what is your break time? They have the worst break time whereas you work 6 hours only you get a break. Whereas the break time are 1700/1730 which are ridiculous.

My advice to the newbies, pls beware when you go into this company. Think twice, if you are a IT savvy person this job is not suitable for you because the only gadgets that you get from the company is only a file, a land line phone, a pen, pencil, a notebook and a sticky pad. AND you are NOT allowed to use the Internet during working works and you can only use the Internet to send email to your clients.

Not paid for services

I totally agree with others who found it difficult to stop the unsolicited emails from Unistrategic. They kept changing the names, but using the same domain. Even when I always replied with 'remove' my email address, the emails kept coming in. I already put them in my junk list, but I'm quite furious of the way they spam my inbox, and without due regards to users privacy. Nor do they honour their own statements in their emails about how to stop receiving their emails. I am at a point to lodge a formal complaint to the Singapore authorities about their unprofessional work conduct in this matter.
