AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!! Fraudulent Breach of Contract on my special promotional financing periods and removing them prior to expiration!

I applied for a line of credit through UAS from an initial purchase through Laseraway. All of my purchases have had special promotional finance periods to which no interest shall be charged as long as I pay the balance in full before the promo period ends. Which I’ve complied with. My due date is the 16th of the month. I've made payments in the past on the 26th of the month within my 10 day grace period. Nowhere in the contract does it state if my payment isn't paid by the end of the grace period, that I'd lose my promo period and charged interest. The payment for August was submitted before the 26th in advance to be paid on the 26th and I chose that date due to being within the grace period. I wasn't charged a late fee therefore I wasn't late. I have an email that shows the payment was there and pending/processing on 08/25/23. On the transactions it shows it was submitted/received on the 26th, but not processed until the 27th. That was not due to any issue on my end as I had submitted the payment in advance to be paid on the 26th, as well as my bank processed it at at 5:45 AM on 08/26 well before the 5pm CST cut off. My payment on July 26th was received on the 26th and processed on the 26th. It doesn't take "24 hours" to be posted. The payment has to be made before 5PM CST which it was as it was setup in advance and confirmed to be pending/processing on 08/25/23.

My charge slip for my purchases which all have special promotional financing state, "No interest will be charged on this promotional purchase if you pay the amount financed in full for this purchase within the applicable promotional period. If you do not pay the full balance of the amount financed for this purchase, interest will be charged from the date of delivery. Regular account terms apply to non-promotional purchases and, after promotion ends, to promotional purchases." In my retail installment agreement(contract), it states, " Your due date is at least 23 days after the close of each billing cycle. Interest will begin accruing on purchase(s) from the purchase date OR as specified on your charge slip. We will charge you interest on your purchase(s) so long as you have a balance OR according to the terms of any special promotional financing offers that may be applicable to your purchase(s)." All of these purchases have special promotional financing. Therefore, no interest is to be charged as this is against the contract from the charge slips. Therefore regular account terms DO NOT APPLY since the promo periods haven't expired.

Finally, I contacted the manager at Laseraway Roseville who contacted her UGA finance team and they left a comment on my original case that was opened on 09/20/23 and closed the next day. She confirmed this is against my contract on the charge slips. Case #03652466 9/20/2023 [email protected] - Jeannette Kennedy - uPortal360 - Consumer has attached his statement. His promotional dates are showing an end date of 08/26/2023 on all packages in UAS system which is different than what's on his contract please see the attached statement provided by the consumer, and adjust accordingly.

Case number - 03653356 On 09/22/2023 IT left a comment stating please reinstate promotional financing on charge slips 2,3,4,5,6. Today on 10/9/2023 the case was closed, stating it was denied because I didn't pay on the 16th. I've paid after the 16th throughout the year, utilizing the grace period and this hasn't happened. The goal posts keep moving stating I made the payment outside of the grace period because it was received on 08/26/2023 but not processed until 08/27/2023 and that I didn't pay it by 5:00PM CST. The payment was setup in advance, was confirmed by email from you on 08/25/2023 that the payment was pending/processing, and my bank processed the payment on 08/26/2023 at 5:45 AM which I have proof of. The definition of a grace period isn't to just avoid a late fee, it's a period to resolve and avoid action as long as the obligation is satisfied during the grace period, which it was.

I don't understand where this can be forwarded to your internal department for review, for them to agree and state to reinstate my promotional financing, for then it to be denied. If this isn't resolved I'll be seeking legal action as I've submitted all proof necessary that demonstrates this is breaching my contract. The charge slips override the installment agreement in that interest shall not be charged as long as the full balance is paid BEFORE the promotional financing period ends. The goal posts keep getting moved stating, it's because it was processed on the 27th and that's outside the grace period, to then it's because I didn't pay by the 16th, to which apparently, a grace period means nothing, other than a late fee not being charged. I've attached all proof necessary per the stipulations of my installment agreement/charge slips. The charge slips supersede the installment agreement when it comes to interest per the installment agreement! You Can't Charge Me Interest BEFORE the promo period ends if I've not paid the balance in full.

This company has the most unprofessional, rude, customer service reps even if you speak to a “supervisor”. They will talk over you, be condescending, and tell you incorrect information. DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS with this company. They are a SCAM!!!

Despite my case being reviewed by their “internal department” and APPROVED to reinstate my promotional financing, apparently they can just still deny it because they only care about stealing your money.

WORST FINANCIAL COMPANY EVER

I got 2 years interest free loan (principal amount: $3,494.00) from laser away through this company "uportal360".
I have an issue with the payment services. I had auto payment setup. Unfortunately, I lost my credit card, and had to change the credit number. As soon as I received the new credit card, I called in and gave my new card number to be used for auto-payment; however, it seems that operator did not complete the transfer, and the old credit card number was used for the payment which was rejected.
Although I have called on time before my next due date payment and gave my credit card number to be used (they have my new credit cart # on record), I have been told that I am still responsible for the delay which does not make sense.
i did not do anything wrong here. i paid my monthly amount on-time and did not miss any payment. it was the company's fault that did not used my new credit card number for autopayment. i should not be punished for that. I already paid back my loan and i do not want to pay any interest

WORST FINANCIAL COMPANY EVER

FRAUD !!! Universal Account Servicing, LLC

DON"T DO BUSINESS WITH Universal Account Servicing, LLC THIS COMPANY IS A RIP-OFF !!!!!!!!!

I had a promotional account with Universal Account Servicing (UAS), LLC. for 12 months. I paid the account on time by paying more than required to ensure I would not be charged interest. UAS did not honor the agreement and accelerated the payments 2 months before the pay-off. When called to ask why the customer support team members were rude, belligerent, and would not offer a reasonable explanation for their actions on my account. The customer support person went on to say the UAS is losing money due to COVID-19 and the need the customers to pay off their accounts and any promotions that were made with merchants had to terminate early requiring customers to pay off their accounts as soon as possible.

All the numbers that the UAS people gave here are not working. In my opinion UAS is a real SCAM. You only get to talk to them if they call you but when you call them all the phone numbers are not working. Sigh

UAS Forgery and Fraud

Universal Account Services is a fraudulent company. They forge your signature and steal your information, then charge you huge amounts of money out of nowhere, you don't know what they are charging you for, and they don't want to correct anything. They send you to a second company which is more fraudulent than the first.

The customer service line put you through a voice mail Supervisors Direct Line: 816-584-4760. A ripoff and SCAM. Contact a lawyer and get in on a class action law suite. These people prey on the unemployed and desperately try to get additional information of all your finances. Excel Online LLC does not help you to make money they are in it for themselves. UAS keeps billing me for services I have never used. I refuse to give them any money,since I have never received any service. I pay 59.95 a month for something I don't even know what for. It comes onlut of my account and don't know how they got my Imformation. I talked to the bank and they can't even stop it.

Premier Resorts

We do not know why we are being billed for "Premier Resorts" as we do not own a timeshare with such a company. Please provide us with a contact for that company such as an email address or a phone number (which our credit reporting company says is required for any billing to be legitimate) so we can deal with them directly and find out why they are billing us through your company. thank you for your assistance in solving this mystery. Lacking in Customer Service

"Universal Account Servicing" has NO customer service!! Every time I call them they are not helpful and make me feel like why did I call. Their matter of voice is terrible. And I'm not talk about just one person I'm talk about all of the customer service representatives. I ask one simple question and you would have thought I was the bad person! Not one time have they ever said "thank you" for doing business with us, it's usually take what I said and just leave. I don't think it's a happy place to work or they need to re-train all their employees!

I did not have a choice in doing business with them, they bought the company I was with, THEY HAVE NO Customer Service skills at all. If you have a choice DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!!

UAS

This company has no customer service as it should be. All employees are rude and impolite. I have to pay fee of here and over there by errors of them, if you call today I say one thing, if you attend another call tomorrow and says something completely different.
If I am the owner and I read all these comments or close the company or miss everyone and employ people who know not ignorant as those who are now !.

Excessive billing practices

Ok so I guess it's not just me. I was financed through this company for a dating service called Dallas Singles. Both companies are scams. Universal sends me a past due statement every month. I finally found out when my actual due date is, the 10th of every month. Every single statement I have received has a statement date of after the 10th. I have never received a single on time statement, and they charge me a $19 late fee each time! I am i the middle of trying to get this resolved right now but from what you all are posting I guess I probably won't have any luck. I don't understand how these companies stay in business. What a shame. I am going to discuss a lawsuit with my attorney and if he thinks we have a case I will post on here again for anyone who wants to get involved.

Excessive billing practices

Universal Account Servicing was the third party billing system for The Right One, a matchmaking service. That service went out of business in September. Since that time, I have been told several times that Great Expectations was responsible for taking over my account. However, upon further investigation I discovered that this is not the case. As a result Universal has charged me and my partner for a service that is no longer being provided. This is called fraud! In a gesture of good will, I have been attempting to contact one of the managers to have our money refunded and the accounts closed so that it will not adversely effect our credit. Despite numerous voice mails, my complaint has still not been addressed. As a result I have no other choice but to file a complaint the FTC, the Better Business Bureau, and any other group that will help investigate these actions. In addition, I will begin steps to file a class action lawsuit if my issue is not addressed.

Excessive billing practices

This place is not worth wasting my time, unfortunately I have to try and deal with them since they cannot get a check payment right. I made a payment by check as I have been since August of 2011. I sent the check in on 1/23/2012 and it supposedly did not go through since they said I had insufficient funds in my checking account which was BS. I called and found out about this on 2/9/2012. I did what the person asked me to do by going out of my way to se nd them the proof that I had money in my account, I talked to my back and they said my check was never attempted to be cashed. So know it is 2/29/2012 and I must have called them about 25 times to try and get this BS straightened out. The guy who was supposed to call me today never did, I called bot the consumer help desk and customer service. Both had no one available to talk to, only an option to leave a message. So now here I am with one payment supposedly past due and the next one due tomorrow along with a $15 unsufficient funds fee. My advice is, " Never buy anything unless you know who is going to finance the account. And if is these $%^&'s, good luck. Peaces of S$%t
