I was accused of plagiarising in February 2015 for a class I took in December 2014. My 2015 first disbursment was late and I continued calling to find out that it is in "certification process". I suppose I called too much or something because later the committee of the school indicated I plagarised for a class back in Dec 2015 at which I got a B in. The suspended me and gave me an F in the class. Now (without any evidence provided to me) I have to pay for that class OOP (out of pocket). So... Where did my financial aid money go for that class? I am so done! I want to obtain my MSP degree but now it appears I've plummeted into their trap. I've been a student since 2009 and never have endured this treatment. Maybe it's payback for me calling too much, and posting on the school forum regarding my case. Hell I don't know. I've contacted a educational property attorney and will see what I can do. I also appealed the case. As interesting as it may seem, there is a lot I am not mentioning on this due to my privacy. I always spoke high of this school and encouraged people to attend too. I wish I could connect with the Higher Learning Commision about this. I understand UOP's accreditation is on a two year post rather then being on probation. I have learned a lot from the classes, I'm not going to lie but to suspend a student with a 3.45 GPA with stellar attendance makes no sense to me. Turnitin is a plagiarism checker that is assumed to have no flaws. I believe too many institutions rely on this database to conclude an outcome of a students future. Wish me luck to push my innocence!
