I won a prize for winning an essay contest while at UOP. The awarding foundation then sent my prize to the school for credit toward
my tuition. I have confirmed proof of the school`s receiving the money from the foundation, however, depending upon whom I
talked to at the school, it either " got lost in the mail" or never really arrived at all. At any rate, my prize money disappeared into their pockets---probably those at the top of their financial department, if not the president`s as well. Has anyone else out there
had a similar experience as this ?

I am a former student of UoP and i don't have neither my associate or bachelors degree. I say out for six months due to my gap falling below standard because of the group assignments that we where required to do. After sitting out the required time I did the necessary steps to return back to school. After returning and getting back comfortae with the people and school schedule I was informed hay I woe have to pay out of pocket 1700$ every four classes because I had used up all of my pell and just about all of my loans. So once agai. I'm out of school. Now grant it I transferred from one college to the UoP because the coefe hat I was attending didn't have teachers to teach the last two classes that I needed to obtain my associates degree so I transferred out to receive my bachelors. I was td upon enrolling that all of my credits where accepted and that I would only have to do two more years and I woe have my bachelors. Well guess what I've been in school for almost four more years and I had to start all over and retake everything that I had already taken. When questioned about why am I retaking those classes I got ten different answers and never the correct answer. I witnessed financial aid counselor a being arrested for stealing and I've had five different academic and financial aid counselors since I've been there. The reason for this complaint I was informed that in order for me to get my associates degree since I over over the amount of credits to receive it they UoP told me that I would have to repay the school and the federal government 14000 and when I asked why they informed me because the federal go ernment was payi g for me to get a bachelors degree. I know that I must repay my student loans but why must I repay the federal government money for classes that I've successfully passed. My credits from my precious college are just floating in the system and is my associates degree from either schools. In order to get my bachelors next year in October they UoP want me to pay them 16000. What can I do because I e worked to hard to get my associates and my bachelors. At a lost.

839In October 2011, my girlfriend had submitted her International (Indian) Bachelor's Degree certificates to University of Phoenix for evaluation. University has completed the evaluation and officially admitted her into MBA program. When my wife requested for the return of her certificates, the University is now telling her that they cannot find the documents. This is pure irresponsibility on their part to keep important documents secure and safe.That's why i hate University of Phoenix.
