I joined UpWork.com as a freelancer and was contacted by Katrina Mills who wanted to hire an assistant for marketing. It sounded like she needed basic marketing done.But now she sent me two checks for $3,430 written from a school in New York. I contacted the school and not been able to confirm this is a legit check. I say it's not and it looks pretty fake. Katrina has contacted me by text several times to check if I deposited the check as she asked me too.
Beware that Upwork host scammers and its not fair to job seekers. I'm not falling for the scam. I hope this helps someone.

I have joined nearly 2 years ago and asked for payment 1 month after my first claim of $20,000 without success for payment.. Thereafter every time my $20,000 become $40,000 and registered for payment but no luck. I must have send 100's of e-mails requesting "PAYOUTS" as the account grown to where it is now. I did get legal advise and was told it is a scam and must report it to our SAPD and it will be taken further with INTERPOL.

I had reached $ 20525 and i cant request payout why ? i have a standard account not premium .
