Hi my name is Nathaniel Jenkins Jr and I was given a prepaid debit card from US Bank to withdraw my unemployment from to pay my bills. Through TWC I had already did I.d. Verification which my I.d. WAs expired at the time before US BANK OPEN the account in my name. Upon receiving my benefits for the first time on my card I went to use card and it was locked. I hadn’t even used the card I spoke with the bank representative and they still refused to unlock my card but open the account anyway with and expired I.D. This was very hard because my home had just caught on fire, slash I just lost my 21 year old son to violence which also caused my father to break down I pleaded with this bank and asked them is there anyway to unfreeze my account and they said only with and I.d. That isn’t over thirty days expired mines was 45 days at the time but DpS says it is still good for up to two years. I sent them that along with birth certificate that wasn’t good enough so as of right now I’m homeless due to US Bank holding my funds along with children because they said they didn’t care and if I didn’t have money how can I possibly get you what you need without the money that was sent to that account for me. I’m still homeless and I still haven’t gotten my funds from that account.
