The phone number from the call was 914-436-0514, comes up a New York number. I was informed be the fraudulent US Financial Resource rep. alias name Matt Carpenter, who had an accent of middle eastern decent that I was elgible for $4000 in govt grants for education. He wanted me to pay $3.87 for the grant package. He asked how I was going to pay and I said cod. Then he said he was not asking for my bank card info. and I could pay with plastic. I told him I do not give my financial info. out to random callers.He got mad , started cursing at me, threatened to kick my a** and said he would report me and I would go to jail. I laughed and told him govt. officials do not call and threaten American citizens. I was recently applying for unemployment benefits on the Texas Workforce Commision website and a pop up window appeared and my info. was automatically entered , the window was referring to govt. grants. I closed the window, but that is how they got my contact information. Very sad that our country is infiltraded with crooks from foreign countries trying to steal from hard working Americans! I hope this phone number above can give a location to shut these people down and lock them up.
