bought the card went to register over the phone because i didn't have internet they wouldn't do it said it had to be on line or i would have to send in documentation there was no disclaimer on the package but i went to a friend and got on line. then it wouldn't take my info so by the time their system messed up it wouldn't work. now i had to set it up as a gift card and will have to buy another card to have a re-loadable card. so as it happens the big company took money from the small guy to line their pocket even though it was their systems mess up. its not allot of money but if it happens to me it happens to several every day
so they are getting rich stealing for the people who cant afford it

On Dec 20, 2014 I sent a Vanilla Visa Gift Card via US Postal Service Priority Mail to my daughter for Christmas. She never received it in the mail. I called the Vanilla Visa Gift Card customer support (1-800-571-1376) at 10:00 pm Mountain time to have them cancel the card. I was told that I must give them the 16 digit card number from the front of the card. Well, the card was lost in the mail, but I had the 16 digit card number on the receipt from Walgreen's where I purchased the card. The Customer Service representative told me again the the number must come from the front of the card, and I again told her that the number on the receipt matched the 16 digit number on the card. Then she snapped, "OK, give me the number." I gave her the number and she said that it wasn't the correct number for the card. I could tell that she didn't even type it into the keyboard. My guess is that she will somehow use the number to take the money from the card herself.

Walgreen's was unable to help when I talked to them. I was told that I need to talk to the head manager tomorrow.

I wonder what the Post Office will say?

I got a Vanilla Visa Debit Gift card that's supposed to work like a visa credit card. My mom is a single parent and she put all her savings into getting me a gift card. It was rejected and wouldn't activate. My uncle tried to call customer service, but he was hung up on all the time. They gave him other phone numbers that had only recordings. Brooks Smith CEO and President of InComm is a crook and should be in prison. Brooks Smith is a scammer. The people coming here to write positive things about Vanilla work for the company. I bought a 100.00 dollar vanilla gift card at the end of march 2012, I try to pay my bill and it was beeing decleine!!! we try getting ahold of a customer representative but all you get is a stuppid machine repeting it self... never ever buy a vanilla visa card. Does any one know were to call or who to get ahold off.?
