Fui estafado con la compra de un tiempo compartido en Villa Group. Creo que no hay cosa de la que me arrepienta más en la vida. Cada vez que intentaba reservar en Villa del Arco me decían que no había disponibilidad y que tenía que pagar para quedarme en Villa del Palmar. También me dijeron que si no quería quedarme en cualquier resort de Villa Group sería fácil intercambiar mi semana en otro resort a través de interval, eso era verdad, pero no tan fácil como el vendedor me lo había dicho, en algunos lugares nunca hay disponibilidad, lo intenté por años y nunca había disponibilidad, los últimos años tuve que pagar por mis vacaciones a demás de tener que pagar por mi tiempo compartido. Una vez que compras en este resort te encuentras atado, intenté venderlo, pero me dijeron que la única manera de venderlo era pagándolo todo, ya que lo terminé de pagar resulta que nadie quería comprarlo y era seguir pagando los mantenimientos caros, en dólares. Me trajo muchos problemas económicos y con mi pareja, increíble como algo que pensamos que sería para disfrutar, me traería tantos problemas. Mi esposa fue la que encontró la solución y contrato a una empresa que nos canceló el tiempo compartido, están en Guadalajara y se llaman mexican timeshare solutions, pagamos aproximadamente el equivalente a un mantenimiento por la cancelación y nos olvidamos de problemas. Aléjense de problemas y jamás compren un tiempo compartido con villa group es puro fraude y estrés.

Prior to seeking cancellation of my Villa Group timeshare I tried to sell it, rent it, and even give it away for free. I fell victim to a resale scam ($1500) for a guarantee to sell the share at a profit within 6 months. The offer was fake but I did get a full refund with the help of my credit card company. Offering the share for free provided no takers either.

Looking to rid myself of it I found Mexican Timeshare Solution to be the only company that didn't charge an upfront fee. There may be others now. I was unable to find any conclusive info about them online. But there were no negative reports so I decided to give them a try.

I signed the contract in sept of 2013. They attempted to recover part of my purchase cost for a 15% fee of the recovered amount. This was not successful. I was a bit disappointed but not surprised as my main expectation had been to cancel the timeshare and avoid paying in excess of $17,000 to $21,000 or more in maintenance fees over the next 26 years. The process took about 5 months but my timeshare contract is cancelled. I did verify the cancellation directly with the resort before submitting payment to Mexican Timeshare Solutions. They didn't pressure me to pay them until I was fully satisfied.

Therefore I recommend Mexican Ttimeshare Solutions to others facing the same predicament.
