Several months ago a lady called and ask me what magazines I liked. I told her i didn't want any magazines. She kept on till I agreed.
I pay 39.90 a month. But when I asked how long this would bw, i was told it would several years.

My phone number is on the government Do Not Call list, but VIP continues to call. I was promised a diamond watch and some free magazines if I agreed to buy other magazines. I was weak and said yes, then when I received the contract in the mail I realized what I did, and after reading every word in the contract, I also realized I could cancel within 10 days. I immediately called to cancel. I was not comfortable with the person I talked to about cancelling so I sent an email regarding the cancellation the next day. I got no reply, so the next day I called about it again. That person assured me they had received my email, and my account was cancelled, and I would receive a refund in a few days. I have not received a refund. EVERYONE, stay away from VIP Readers Service. When it comes right down to it I can buy the same magazines at Wal-Mart for about $15 a month, and VIP was going to charge me 39.90 per month. Some of the magazines only come every other month, so this service is a big rip-off.

My elderly friend received a phone call she thought she was actually doing some kind of a survey she was actually signing up for Magazine subscription. She doesn't remember them telling her she was recorded. She called the next day after we spoke and cancel the subscription. It's been a couple months and now they want over $600 is harassing the elderly recording without notifications is that legal. What do we do to stop this company. She's willing to pay $213 that they say is due now but now they're telling her they want over $600. Help

was told my subscription was automaticly renewed and I could not cancel I to spoke with someone saying they could decrease payment that conversation was never recorded or mentioned I am disability retired and can not afford over 1400.00 in magazines

$389.90 payment for 2 magazines for 9 months is illegal!! VIP calls me at 8
am on a Saturday!!!! I feel sorry for the poor person in charge of making these calls at 8am on a Saturday. I hope they feel bad
I want to cancel this. I foolishly agreed by phone to pay for TV Guide and then I was to get other magazines free. I now pay directly for TV Guide. I have
returned Reader's Digest and no longer get it. I have sent copies of Redbook and Popular Science agreeing that I no longer want the magazines. I have paid
$389.90 in the last 9 month for those 2 magazines. No magazine ever charges more than $20 a year. I have sent copies of checks to VIP Readers showing cashed checks with notes
saying I want to cancel. $389.90 for 9 months for 2 magazines..... I think this is illegal
