I worked at Waffle House on General Degaulle for less than 2 months, and all I can say is I have never been so humiliated and harassed in my life.....I showed up to work 30 minutes early everyday only to leave 2 hours late everyday, the way the management team speaks to the employees is egregious and unprofessional the work environment is catatonic and flagrant favoritism runs rampid, You can expect to be disrespected in front of customers on a regular basis and wrote up or taken off of the schedule for the most menial and mundane reasons....If you are a man do not apply for this particular location it's definitely a All Girls Club and you are not invited, half the women that work here are lesbians and have a real disdain for their male counterparts you will only be hired as a servant to those women to accomplish the task they don't like to do, like take out the trash or wash the dishes or to stay behind until the next shift relief shows up " whenever that is" I'm only writing this as a warning to anyone who applies for a job at Waffle House I was fired on Christmas Eve 2017 because I misplaced one ticket the whole two months I worked there, no money was lost, no customers were mistreated, just as a retaliation for the complaint that I filed against management 2 days prior.... misandry is Queen with this company and men are NOT WELCOME!!!

I'm an employee here complained about things to corporate about things not being done waffle House way and it's handled by the same people not doing their jobs. I mean they say they will investigate and have the same people running the stores into the ground do the investigation what sense does that make. They also string a person along with a promise is a raise and all then tell them you need a certain certificate. This company had truly gone down hill and I know Joe and Tom are looking down and are disgusted with what their legacy has become " America's place to eat, America's place to work". What Happened to that motto.

On Sunday, July 30, 2017, my husband and I visited your establishment on Timberlake Road in Lynchburg, Va. It was around 4:30pm. When we went in there was only one other customer being served. I looked around and asked my husband if he wanted to stay or go elsewhere. We decided to stay. Most of the tables had not been cleared. The place was filthy. The stainlesss steel in the cooking area was really bad. The area where they make waffled was disgusting - batter had leaked off the iron and was all over the counter and the waffle iron. My husband ordered the waffle and I just ordered a cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato. I ate less than 1/4 of the burger when I looked down and there was a dead beatle on the roll. I couldn't finish it. I complained and they apologized and took it off our bill. Now. I was int he paper yesterday where they are building another Waffle House on Wards Road, less then 2.5 miles from Timberlake. I surely hope that the new location is better and cleaner than the first one you built.

On Monday May 1,2017 we were in your colonial heights store and Anthony a part of your cook staff ,plated some grits for a order and when he found he didn't need them he put them back into the serving tray on the line. Unacceptable to your customers .We have eaten at this restaurant for over ten years.What happened to the training of your employees.Since when do you reuse food that has been sitting out for better than ten minutes.

Please reassess the training of your staff and let them know people are watching you prepare our food.

I have been to the local management and all the way up to the president of the company because my husband was kicked out and banned for a mistake the cook/manager made in the waffle house. My husband ordered a sausage biscuit and when he received it the sausage had a quarter size hole in it. He asked for another, the waitress said no problem. Anyway instead of the waitress giving the sausage to the cook to see, she gave it to a child that was visiting with us. My husband said, don't the cook need to see it? She said no it will be fine. Anyway about a half hour later after asking where the sausage was, he was then served a cold one, in which he then said he didn't want it. When asked if it could be taken off our ticket the waitress with an attitude now took it to the manager. The manager came out, angry and ripped his apron off, got in my husbands face and yelled at him telling him he was no longer welcomed in waffle house. We sat waiting for our ticket so we could pay and again the manager came out yelling at my husband to get out or he would call the police. We then left humiliated in front of the other guest. That same manager a few months later said my husband could come back because he wanted to work things out. My husband didn't go. He felt that our complaints were tossed aside and it wasn't handled properly. That manager has since been fired because of numerous complaints against him. The new manager heard what had happened and welcomed us back to make things right. We went back a few days ago and was kicked out again. We were told that this incident went to corporates legal department and that it can't be reversed. My thought, How ignorant. I have found out that it was said by the cook and waitress that my husband cursed the manager out and that's why he is not welcomed. My husband didn't curse he don't use such language. They have video with no audio and made their determination off of that. I will never go back to waffle house and I will tell all my friends what happened and will never request them to grace the doors of waffle house. If the so called president of the company can't do anything what is the purpose of his job??? I have never seen a company like this.

there is a server by the name of halla. she is so rude to her co-workers cause she does not like them even when they are new i came to waffle house and her and the young lady on the grill with dreads think her name is cherri was just being rude to the server that served us. the young lady looked new because i havent seen her before. they got into an argument on the floor and i respect that young lady because she stood up for herself. then i come in another day and the grill op was just so rude. i honestly think they need to fire her waffle house is suppose to be about team work and that girl was no part of a team. I seen alot of stuff that i did not like but that was the straw that broke the camels back the manager needs to have a long talk or fire her or transfer her or something i wont be coming back as long as she is there.
