wrongful termination

I believe WAGEWORKs has exploited and discriminated against me because of my disability and that is why my appeal for wrongful termination has NOT been approved.

My insurance was wrongfully terminated. It was to be covered till December 1st. I paid the bill in full. However, without notice I they cashed my check and was sent a refund check 4 months later along with a termination letter and several medical bills already in collections. I have proof of that. My appeal against this termination was not approved despite proof of payment.

Further, my mother who has HIPPA authorization, with every agency aside from wageworks ,because due to my disability i do not always have the capacity to speak . wageworks have taken FULL advantage of this by prolongining HIPPA, so communication is minimal and will not speak to my mother and keeps rejecting HIPPA forms despite having an employee stay on the phone as she completes out the form, on top of , wrongful termination, and denying my appeal.

I need a lawyer, but have limited resources. If anybody can help guide or suggest the next step so I am not stuck with 30K worth of medical debt as a result of their wrong doing please let me know.

non reimbursement of Health Care Premiums

I have several times sent to my Health reimbursement account for health care premiums with proper information sent several hours on the phone and they now need more information from NYS today it was 44 min to no avail with Wage Works my retiree pay back account one month they pay after many hours on the phone only to have the next month denied ( all proper paper work is sent) only to have them state that they can not accept the next month the same paper work. This premium taken from my husband's NYS retirement is $291.36 at the present time. He is on my reimbursement account. Helen K Graves

Wage Works

My money is also being withheld from me. This has happened in 2011 and in 2012. I am VERY EXCITED that I will NOY put forth any money into their coffers beginning 2013 and every year after. I have spent well over 15 HOURS this year trying to resolve an issue for Endodontics. That's right, a trip to a specialist for a root canal is not covered.

And the "pay me back" isn't really a payment to you! You use out of pocket funds to cover doctor visits and prescriptions, submit all receipts, and the money is paid to Wage Works. You lose!!

Additionally, a representative suggested I submit an alternative receipt (commit fraud) vs fighting the Endodontics issue. I would be fired from my employer for such behavior.

The customer service is non-existent!! They read from a script and cannot explain WHY they need more information. Just the information was lacking. Poor training = poor management. The English spoken by their representatives is poor and heavily accented, loud call centers, makes it next to impossible to hear and understand.

I understand they have 2 Million Plan Participants. That is quite a bit of money they keep with denial of claims.

Like I said, this is the last year. The hundreds of dollars of tax savings is absolutely not worth the exasperation, hassle, and incompetence of their employees.

Reimbursement

I agree with your complaints as well. My employer switched to wageworks this year and I too am very dissatisfied. Everything seems to get denied weather it be dependant care or healthcare. I never had this problem with the previous flex spending administrators that we had for 3 years. I am filing a complaint with my benefits department and am petitioning to withdraw from the program. I have called wageworks CUSTOMER SERVICE and what a waste of time.

Reimbursement

A huge percentage of my reimbursements are being held for further verification, meaning that I have to get more information from my doctor before it will be processed. I understand that there must be some checks and balances, but the percentage of verifications required make it more expensive to have the damned flex card. The little tax savings is obliterated by the scores of hours spent hunting down paperwork. The most irritating part is that I have a monthly visit with a doctor, and every month it is rejected. Then half my dental reimbursements are rejected, too. None of my colleagues at my company, nor peers at other firms have had so many reimbursements rejected. I hate WageWorks and I look forward to 2013 when I will withdraw from their crappy Flex program.

What?!?!? I have already reached-out to you to address this and I just get blown-off. Are you telling me now that because I am discussing this in public that someone will actually do something about this? I think I might be more offended by this than the uselessness of your service!!!
