I cannot believe a Walgreen's pharmacy in Albuquerque, N.M., discriminated against a teen female patient by refusing to fill a prescription related to her birth control. She was using it to control her periods and not birth control. Regardless no pharmacist should be hired that will withhold medicine from any patient. I will never go to a Walgreen’s pharmacy again. What if a teacher refused to teach a black student, would that be right? What if they were Muslim would that be right? If you are a pharmacist you must dispense the drugs as prescribed by a doctor, you have no right to withhold any medicine. It's just un-American, it's cruel, it's wrong for many reasons. How can you hire anyone this cruel and ignorant? There is no justification for this behavior.
