Prescription Refill Time

I do not have a complaint about any employee in particular. I have a complaint about the Walgreens at 303 Charlie Watts DR. in Dallas, Ga. and their handling of the prescription that my doctor called in for me on May 11th. I realize that my prescription was not in stock, but I received the following text message-- "KARLIE, Your Walgreens Rx is DELAYED. It's out of stock, but we've ordered more." It is now June 11th, and I have called several times and received automated voice messages that my prescription would be ready soon and a few that said it'd be ready "tomorrow." I have tried to be patient and have even gone on a vacation hoping that it'd be ready when I came back. However, that was not the case because I have called and there is no record of the prescription. I chatted with an agent today after calling the store and being placed on hold for over ten minutes. The agent said the prescription would be ready in an hour. I went to the store. The pharmacist had no idea what prescription I was talking about. I had to tell her the dates the prescription was requested, and she said that she put it in manually and that I should call up to the store again tomorrow. I have since received the same message that I received last time-- "KARLIE, Your Walgreens Rx is DELAYED. It's out of stock, but we've ordered more." I do not want the same thing to happen this time that happened last time. I cannot wait another month for this prescription that I should've received a month ago. I chatted with a less- than-helpful second agent upon receiving the same message. I need to know if there is a medication that is comparable to the one I have been waiting to receive that Walgreens does keep in stock so that this does not happen again. I believe there is nothing I can do on my end that I haven't been doing already. I do not want to continue to have experiences like this one with Walgreens. I need to know what to do so that this does not happen in the future.
